Help my plants are dying!!!

I started eight seeds and transplanted them into a 50/50 perlite/vermeculite mix in my ebb and flow system I built. THey are a week in their new home and a couple out of eight look ok. I had a 20/20/20 mix in a five gallon resevoir dumping every 4 hours on 24/7 light. THe light is 2 floresant bulbs about 5 inches from plant leaves. I had read on here that I should have not used nutes yet and so I thought that may be it. so I am just using 3 day old inside aged rain water in a turkey baster to water 4 times a day. THe plants that are dying are still sying and the ones that arent one is perfect and the other has a bit of brown spotting on a couple leave. I am noticing the leaves turning first and then the stems are getting skinny in the middle. I want to save they plants!! Please help!! I have attached phots with the plants numbered in case you have different advice for different plants. ok I tried to attach but it didnt work. If you need some picks drop me and e-mail addy.

Well, This thread is useless without pics. Gonna have to figure out how to upload them. They have to small, I believe 800x600. Resize them and upload'em.

Ok so I got the pics straightened out. So the first pics are of the system then my lone strong plant #1 then plant two which has a few brown spots on leaves and the stem got so skinny in the middle i had to prop it up. Plant 3 bottom leaves are dead and top leaves closed when bottom died now top leaves are yellowing too. plant 4 leaves all yellowing and stem is getting really skinny at the middle. plant 5 some yellow on tips but seems good other then leaves being smaller the plant 1. Plant 6 not growing very fast and a bit of yellowing started. plant 7 fell over after 2 days so i buried the stem and it seemed to be working now its looks pretty dead. plant 8 has yellowing on top leaves but bottom leaves are looking ok. all the plants yellowing or browning are also getting weak around the middle of the stem. hope this help you all help me.

I honestly doubt they can be saved. Those plants were WAY too young to be treated with fertilizer, particularly anything so strong as 20/20/20. Fortunately they look about ~1 week old, so you shouldn't be too attached. Hopefully you didn't pay too much for them, just toss out and start over.

Just flush the fuckin things and pray... They dont look that bad... Well, a few are kinda crispy. Good luck

in my experience seeds that stretch like that die quickly. All you can do is flush them, try to give those stalks some support (it doesnt look like you have enough room to bury them to the 1st set of leaves)

No nutes for the first week and after that work your way up to full strength.

So I changed the water out of the bucket. Gonna get a ph test kit tomorrow. SHould I set it up on a 4 hour cycle? Should I water from the top to flush as well? Ialso put some more perl/verm mix up higher on the stems for support. To those who say all is lost...dont a few look worth saving if they dont die?
