Help me start my first auto!

seriously, the extra 2 gallons makes that much difference? Have to give credit where credit is do, to run your own controled experiment is great. I would really be interested in seeing the end outcome of your experiment. Unfortunately for me, with having less then 4' height to work with, a 3 gallon I believe is the largest I could run in my smaller cab.
I know. It's funny, but I'm sort of "into" science, as a career. I doubted everyone about the bucket size impact in autos, but I'm a believer, or will be after trying this a few more times with a few diff strains. Got to account for anomalies.

I started one journal for my alpha group, but no one seemed interested, so I gave up on that. And didn't bother to start one for beta and gamma groups. Gamma is the experimental bucket group. PM me in like a month and I will have the detailed results.

I think the consensus on HPS vs MH on autos is just run them under HPS the whole time, or MH for the first week. Autos don't really have a veg state so they can dig the HPS all around. I'm not really sure though, from experience. I'm outdooring all my autos. They are loving it outside.

Really? So HPS the whole time? U would think the MH would help any stretch, but then again how much stretch can u have with a dwarf?!

I will def hit u up in a month as i am really interested in seeing how it all worked out.

I have 20 KC45's outside right now. They are supposedly 70 - 90 day "autos", but have heard different opinions on that. I guess time will tell. The main consenses is that KC45's can produce upwards of 1 KG per plant!!!!! But again, only time will tell.

Like I said, it's what I read all over the place. Personally, I've never run them indoors, so I can't speak to it, but I read a lot and listen. Why not split the difference and run the MH for two weeks or something? Thing is, these little fellas get really bushy, so I can't see a little stretch being bad for them. These things were made for the leaf tucking technique, so damn bushy that the leaves keep blocking the buds.

All the grow journals--except for one where the guy chopped early bc he needed his flowering room--I've read have autos coming in between one week and two weeks later than the breeder/sales specs.
