Help me choose my haircut style

It is no surprise to those who have me that I have not cut my hair since Y2K. Consequently, I now have a long flowing mane that would make Fabio jealous. I am not taking Fabio today - I mean the golden age of Fabio before he got man-boobs.

But I am sick and tired of running into these signs and spending most of my day in line just trying to mail a letter.

So I have decided to cut my hair but am stymied as to what style to choose.

Please help me with your suggestions. I have included some handy references... you know, so we can communicate about this.

Forget the man bun and wig; I got caught up in the moment. Think mullet. 'Tache optional, although recommended.

I say overcompensate for the years of the long mane and shave it clean like me. Buff to a mirror shine, the ladies LOVE it...

I was gonna suggest this! What a great compromise between long and short! Lol

I heard somewhere that the Beastie Boys actually coined the term "mullet". Not sure if it's true or not.

It really is quite exquisite. Also, don't look directly at his seductive eyes. I don't need to draw you a diagram of what happens next if you risk it.

It is true according to the OED. The Oxford English Dictionary wrote the book on English.
