I'm almost done with the 14 day soil flush, with just filtered water. Do I still need to trim the buds, to collect the resin glands to try to make kief or hash? I only have this one plant and it's triches are fewer from the iso spray. If I won't have enough resin, I might end up keeping the sugar leaves on the buds, for a little extra buzz(or not worth it & tastes bad?). I'm gonna harvest the main stem, from the top down, until I get to one of the top branches that are at the base of the plant. I'm going to leave all the bottom branches in hopes of re-vegging. Remember, I'm trying to re-veg only using some popcorn buds with sugar leaves, since the alcohol spray made almost all fan leaves dry out and fall off.

Should I leave one big bud that's attached to the main stem, just above the bottom branches, or no? I also heard that when the larger buds at the ends of the branches are harvested, the popcorn buds on those branches will get larger, faster, because all nutrients first go to the top buds on those branches. So for me, re-vegging, would I leave the larger, top buds on those branches because they have more sugar leaves, since they are bigger? Or remove those top buds, to send a signal for all the popcorn ones underneath those, to utilize the excess nutrients to grow bigger?(or won't they get bigger until the plant flowers again?) I just don't know how many popcorn buds and what size popcorn buds, would be sufficient enough to re-veg. Thanks in advance, and please try to answer my many annoying questions, it's the only way that I'll learn.
love ya man, but you are waaaaaaay overthinking this, and simply trying to do too much
don't worry, we all start there.
you are misled in more ways than I can fathom, i'm not sure who is informing you on some of this but I recommend getting some simple books on horticulture, and botany, cannabis is no different than other plants.
if this plant is something you like, then you'll want to ensure that the genetics live (via reveg or clone, at this stage reveg is WAY more likely than cloning)
your buds are drying because they are dead, if you have anything on the plant drying as the plant is alive, then the damage is between the stem and the bud.
otherwise water keeps it alive and growing.
MItes are a bitch, in the future I recommend predator mites if you get issues with them
i'd leave at least a good 10 bud sites with the buds intact in order to reveg.
keep in mind some strains reaaaaally are slow to reveg, I've had strains that don't like it at all. Some simply do not reveg, ive had two strains that just refused to reveg

ok, now this part is important.
you want to do a couple things differently,
first, growing with two cfls is only gonna frustrate you when you harvest 5 grams from the plant
second reveging is LONGER than cloning or even starting from seed. If you don't have plant restrictions I wouldn't bother, unless the genetics are superb

greasemonkey, can I first say thanks for offering some help but can you explain in what ways I'm misled. You are correct, lol, but I'd like to learn what I'm doing wrong.
I'm on Disability, so I could only afford 2 CFL's at the time. I have 1 bulb at an angle, over the top and the other bulb shines on the side, and I rotate the plant a quarter turn every three hours, so the whole plant gets the most out of those 2 bulbs.

I got another question. Since I can no longer remove the smaller buds to test, is there a correct way to remove some from the larger buds, to test. I know it's not good but will a microwave @ 50% power for 10 seconds, dry it enough or is there a better way that is also fast and safe for the triches?

I'm now trying to re-veg the bottom third of my plant, it has no leaves but I left on approximately 10 pcorn flowers on the 12 branches. It's been a week with the lights(cfl's) on @ 24/0. I'm not even sure I'll be able to re-veg, but I fed water/Nitrogen the first day of veg and yesterday fed same water/Nitrogen again. What I'm noticing is, most of the branches are drying out/thinning a few inches, at the top or end of the branches. I don't even know if she will re-veg or what is supposed to happen with the existing small flowers, and the tips of the branches during re-veg?

Any help/explanation, from first hand knowledge will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Well, harvest turned out ok but afterwards I wasn't able to re-veg because there were almost zero leaves left, and I guess the buds don't have enough surface area for light to cause her to re-veg.
Can someone please pm me a few reputable sites for seed, on the low to mid price range.
If so, thanks in advance.

How long did you wait to see if it would reveg? Takes around a month and often new grow tips will come out on their own where there wasn't even a branch before. Lower light levels on 18hrs/day or more will get most to come back but it doesn't always work.

What country do you live in?

I found a great spot to download FREE POT BOOKS . I downloaded a grow bible first and got lots more. Books looks great and complete like the real ones I have here. No web site but just a page of links. Just right click on what you want and then "Save Link As" to download so they don't open first as many are 50+ megs. They got lots. Enjoy.

:peace:
