Hi all I'm coming up to 5 weeks flower this Friday.

Got 3 Northern Lights and a Blueberry, all my northern lights are going well but my blueberry is causing me concerns.

I have a lot of swollen Calyx's or 'false seed pods' or plain seeds.

I've had no sign of male flowers and have pulled a couple of these swelling off and it hasn't helped me any.

I have noticed that the buds on my blueberry are so far not as big and tight as my northern lights but that could just be genetics.

Can you fine fellows please take a look over my pictures and see what you think.

You know I could be wrong but everything looks pretty decent. Week five? you still adding nutrients? I would stop one-two weeks from suggested harvest date. When I first grew I was horrifyed to add anything, then I got brave. Indoors is harder for me because im a oprganic lover and things like chiken crap dont go well indoor.

In my opinion it looks like really swollen calyxes, I had the same issue with the first plant I ever grew. I can't tell exactly but it seems as if they have pistils growing from them. is there any of these large calyxes with no pistils or hairs protruding from them?

Also you could always cut one off from where it comes out of and slice it open with a razor blade and see if it has a seed in it and it if is a very tiny seedlike thing take caution because you may have a hermie.

I can't see any stripes on them at the moment, I'm giving them a look over twice a day and so far no signs on banana-man.

I am still adding nutes at the moment, they are due a water only feed in 2 days, then I'm gonna hit the bitches with a good meal then call it a day, most of my plants are northern lights and are pretty good at finishing their tea.

Yes there are one or two of the calyx's with no hairs.

Should I pull it out, I really hope not as its my only bluberry...

Its just really a matter of finding some good up close pics and comparing. Personaly I cant see the pic very well and as for all pics taken with lights on it really yellow things out.

Also a calyx might not show hairs for some time and then when you think everything has stopped, it bursts open with new hairs.

Unfortunately having the lights on is all I can do, getting a good shot of these swelling is difficult.

I'll try moving them to another area tomorrow and taking some more pics.

Absolutely right, its almost like some grow during the first "hair growth" then in the later flowering weeks it erupts with new growth. You ever open one of those swollen ones that IS NOT a seed? The microscopic activity in those things are amazing.

what was the final verdict here hermie or not? I have a plant that looks just like that and an wondering if I should kill it so as not to ruin the rest.

^He's been lightly pollinated, I'm almost certain of it. I hope that's not the case with your's, it sucks major ass. I lost two grows due to an unfound hermie, and hasd to start over with new strains, recently.
