Hey, just wanted to report how the All Seasons Spray Oil is working.
I'm in veg and I have lady bugs that have kept the Broad Mite population to a minimum, but I haven't been able to get rid of them all together in about 5 or 6 weeks. So I started using All Seasons about 10 days ago, in concentrate it's 98% petroleum oil wich is supposed to be able to kill some of the eggs. It's only $13 for the small bottle of concentrate that makes 12 gallons.
I Sprayed with a pump type sprayer for the first two treatments which were 3 days apart. I saw 8 the first time I treated and 1 the second time I treated. I bought a $12 pump/air pressure type sprayer last night for the 3rd treatment, again 3 days later. I didn't see any mites at all last night.
I added Neem Oil from concentrate on the second treatment, but other than that it was all the All Seasons. I'll treat 2 more times keeping the spacing at 3 days, but there's a good chance they're already gone. This stuff works good.
You can use an insecticide, but if they're already immune to it, then it wont do much good and they'll get worse. This stuff is a suffocant and mites can't become immune to it. Just make sure to spray everything. Both sides of the leaf, the stem, soil, planter, drain pans, mylar, carpet, floor, walls, etc...... Everything except the HIDs.
You don't want to spray the buds, but you can spray everything else right up until harvest, it's all natural.
If you have a bad infestation then I'd suggest using multiple methods including humidity on Spider Mites. But you should make this one of your methods.
