Help! Convince my man its time 2flower.

Right. Our plants are 6weeks into veggy, from 5seeds (Passion#1) we have 3 females/2 males. One female is 3feet tall the other two are about 2Half. The have over 12 branches on the stem and are nice and healthy.
I've been saying, next week we'll get the red spectrum and put them into flower, but the man keeps saying no they have to veg for 91 days.
I know you can let them veg for that long and you get a better yield but they're tall enough now and if they double in height in flowering will they not end up like 6foot and all.
Opinions please.

yeh they will double if not trebble during flowering. if u havent got the space i would recomend flowering now

you should veg no more than 4 weeks passion flowers in 9weeks i know as its my personal fav why are you keeping males they are useless unleess you want to pollinate you only want the females get those males out you will still have a lovely crop hope he has sence to take notice switch them overthey will flower any way but they are ready i can assure you hun

My bro wants to use the males to pollenate his White Widow female. Its a bit stunted from bad conditions so he wants to experiment.

Your friend doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. There is no reason to keep the plant in the vegetative phase for 91 days. Where the hell did he even get that number?? Why not 90 days? Or 92 days? What sort of magic does he think is going to happen on the 91st day? Consider that the plant will double (and possibly even triple) in size during the flowering phase. If you allow your plant to veg for 3 months(+1 day), it's going to be 6 feet tall before it even begins the flowering phase. Unless you're growing weed in a cathedral, I don't see how you're going to be able to keep it under the light when it's that tall. Your plants should veg for 4-6 weeks before beginning the flowering phase. If your friend doesn't understand this, you need to send him our way and we'll straighten him out. And if he's that ignorantly stubborn, you might want to find yourself a new partner. Or better yet, do it yourself.

Regarding those male plants, you should get them out of there immediately. If your friend wants to use them for his "experiments", you should move them to another room far away from the females. I don't care how careful you are, if you allow those males to release their pollen while in the same room as the females, you will most certainly end up pollinating your females and creating a shitload of seeds. I'll also mention that when a plant produces seeds, it will have a significantly lower THC content than if you had done it right and not produced seeds. The smokeable yield will also be considerably less.

1. A 91 day veg? WTF you only need to for thirty days.
2. Also if you leave that male in the room you will get NO bud and you will get seeds.

Hey PK.... I'm growing White Widow and I Veg for 7 weeks if from seed and 4-5 weeks from clone.

How long you veg is TOTALLY up to you when growing indoors. You provide the 'Sun' cycle so the plant will follow your lead. Not sure where your friend heard 91 days.... but indoors that is not true... YOU decide when you want to flower. IMO 6 weeks / 3 ft. is PLENTY!!!! Switch those babies to flower

maybe he heard 91days from seed to harvest and was a little confused,maybe take a few starts off the top before you flower so you wont out grow the hight of the room

You're impatient and he's silly... Find a compromise.
