Help choosing

So after so much looking into lights ive narrowed it down to 2 options.

1. 8x citizen 1212 cobs

2. 1000watt hps with hortilux bulb

The reason i have the hps vs cobs is because i know i can pull at least 0.5gpw with the hps. I dont know what the average yield is when growing with cobs.

Any help or input would be appreciated

Not trying to be rude, but I think you are underestimating things. I would hope you would pull more than that. I pull about 1.25gpw with my 400W hps.

I just got this https://growerslights.com/collections/horticulture-lighting-group-quantum-board-led-kits/products/horticulture-lighting-group-260-watt-xl-quantum-board-led-kit but haven't had it long enough to judge yet, but the dam thing is BRIGHT. It puts my 400W hps to shame in the brightness category, I think it's going to do well, I certainly hope so!

Well my best is 0.7 so far and thats only with topping. Im aiming for 1gpw once i start SOGing. Yeah ive looked into the qbs alright but for the price of them i would rather build it myself but i can never find the boards on there own in stock. Im sure youll be pleased with what your light can do
