Hi, this is the first time I've ever asked a question anywhere about this sort of thing. But, I don't know what else to do.
I have some male leaf drying, and it's been drying for a good while now. It's the first time I've really let it just dry naturally, but i've kept it moving and haven't let any mold form or anything like that. It's just really, REALLY damp and sticky. I didn't know the male leaf would do that really, but it seems natural.
I just got through checking it again, and something very disturbing was found in the damp leafs. Little white worms that looked to be maggots. disgusting... I'm afraid the leaf's are ruined now, and I'm worried for any females and not really sure what to do. I have found a gnat or two, but I've killed them when I do. I believe I have fungus gnat's according to the information I've found online and in this forum. But I have never bought anything to get rid of pest's, and have no idea what's safe for the plant, and for me. (touching the plant or otherwise...) I don't know what I would need to do to get rid of not only the gnat's, but any and all larvae. And even more, I wouldn't know where to find the products to do such a thing. I've only ever got my stuff from local stores, or amazon.
It's the first time I've ever seen this problem and I'm at a loss as to what to do. Any and all help on the problems and issues I'm having would be greatly appreciated!
Also, I'm not entirely sure if I'm drying my leaf's and bud correctly. I have them in a container and ussaly shift it around 2 times a day. It's in a relitively hot room, but I've also dried it in a cool room. I believe keeping it in the hot room, has caused some problems, but i'm not 100% if it's something you should or shouldn't do.
