Hi people, im new to this site and to growing.
20161020_180446.jpg Iv got a plant in a soil setup with a 1000w led* and im 5 weeks into flower. It is bagseed so im not sure on the strain, smells hazey but im not sure.
*it was advertised as a 1000w led, although its a non branded one from amazon so i seriously doubt its actually 1000w, its doing the job tho!

My problem is her leafs are yellowing, at quite a scary rate and i cant figure out why. Ive been feeding her when the soil feels dry a few inches down and adding vitalink bloom, and ive been monitoring the ph and keeping it around 6.5 (only for the past 3 feeds).
Its been yellowing for about 2 weeks now and i keep removing the super yellow leafs but ill have stripped her bare in no time so it cant carry on. Whats going on? is it cal/mag deficiency or is it cause the ph was wrong during veg or is it something iv not even considered? Most of the yellowed leafs get plenty of light while some are deep in the nether zone. Some input would be great!

it looks to me like you are running out of nitrogen too early. does the bloom formula still have a decent amount of nitrogen? try a dose of 1/2 gro and 1/2 bloom at next feeding. dont take off yellowing leaves as the plant is pulling nitrogen from them. taking them away only makes it turn to another set of leaves. once they start drying up and dying, then remove them.

yeah the bloom is 5-4-9, thanks for the help ill try that for now and see if anything improves. I did read about switching to bloom nutes too early but that was after i had prematurely switched to bloom nutes.

It happens but it's all good. As for the light it's not pulling probably anymore than 300 watts. I have a a bunch of LEDs the one I'm using now pulls 680ish at the wall and it's supposed to be compared to a thousand watt. Get a kill-a-watt meter to tell for sure how much it's pulling.
