Is this plant screwed? Should I kill it and remove from my tent

Hi all, novice here who indeed bungled things. I have a White Buffalo Seeds Sasquatch that faded out yellow on me WAAAAY too early into flower, and I've been chasing it ever since trying to get it to green up and look okay.. and as mentioned, total noob here so most likely just simply screwed up

My question isn't did I screw up, but, should I kill this plant and get it out of my tent?

I can't tell if it's a lost cause or not. To my eye the new leaves look much darker green. But I know nothing lol

So I come looking for help!



It's in a 5 gallon pot filled with Black Swallow KIS MIX soil. It yellowed fairly early into flower on me and I started hitting it with a bloom dosage and 25% 4-4-4 to hopefully try and green it back up. It might've worked but I just don't know if it's too far gone ?

Hell no, don’t kill it, I’ve seen a LOT worse. What I see is pretty minor. Let it go and see what happens. You’ve already invested a lot of time, and you’re learning, win-win in my book.

I'd say finish the grow. I checked the genetics & you're in for a long flowering time. So I think you have time to get her back right. What fertalizer did you water it with at 25%? She probably just used up all the nitrogen during the stretch & needs more. Organics will take time, salt based ferts will work faster.

At start of strech plant will eat a lot more then at ens of atretch she will almost stop eating.
I think ita never a good idea wasting 2 months of your life.you can put a new plant to veg in the tent if you want.it wont flower for 30 days under 12/12

Indeed, it's a loooong flowering strain - I dunno what the hell I was thinking, especially being a noob.. This is why I'm so conflicted on whether I should just pull it and replace it with something new from my veg tent that will flower in 10 weeks or whatever...

When I noticed the yellowing problem was getting worse by the day, I gave it a dose of 75% 2-8-4 Gaia Green Power Bloom and 25% 4-4-4 Gaia Green All Purpose hoping to pump some nitrogen back into it.

Sadly, it seems to be very slow to uptake, and even kind of hardened my soil.. It's been just not good.. I might need to switch to liquid nutes I'm thinking?

I mean to call it 2 wasted months of my life I can't say I necessarily feel that way although I certainly could..

I knew going into this it was for nothing more than to learn .. I'm a good sport and can admit defeat if this is the case

Any thoughts on the pic itself? Lost cause? Pursue?

Sorry edit - also can you elaborate on the 30 days under 12/12 thing? I normally find my strains flowering within 14 days of 12/12

Plant looks good i dont see why you would kill it.well there is still to learn harvest time pistil color trichomes colors.... drying avoiding that hay smell.... even if you get 10g you can learn a lot

From seed no way to get it flowering in 14 days.
If you grow in soil dont forget organic nutes take time to activate.soo you dont overdoo it

My vote goes to grow it out.
Looks pretty good....dark green in the bud and looks happy.
There are a lot of lessons to be learned yet...no need to toss the opportunity to do so.

Yep, grow it out don't throw it out. This is what learning is made of. I have one now in week 4 of flower experimenting with dry organic with N deficiency. I gave it a shot of flora trio leaning heavier on the micro and a few grains of RAW N (20-0-0) about a week ago for faster absorption and it's greening up noticeably already. Indoor growing for only 3-4 years here and have yet to have a perfect grow. I've had a hermie in in mid-flower and grew it out. Only one I've ditched so far was a DWC attempt that went south due to root rot. And I fought that one to the bitter end but had to admit defeat in the end. Still learned a lot though. As others have said, still ahead is learning about harvesting, drying, and curing. Stay at it and apply lessons learned to the next one.
