Heavy 16 problems in ebb and gro

Has anyone else experienced problems with heavy 16 in an ebb and grow. From the very beginning I used heavy grow a and b, prime, roots excel, and great white. Started getting crazy ph up problems where my ph would shoot to 7.2 overnight. I tried using airstones and tried just recirc pumps. Finally I am at the point where I am just using the a and b but still getting ph rising. Had a bad bit of root rot so I look in my buckets and see a bunch of brown/red globules floating around. Figured it was algae and started to use heisenburgs tea. I want to go back to using the full lineup and was wondering what people would suggest. Thinking of using pool shock continually through the rest of this grow instead of tea because if I keep using the tea I can't use prime because its a microbe feed. Any thoughts?

So what exactly are you doing different that when you started this thread?

Now all I am doing is flooding twice a day with lights on, using a tea with subculture m and then great white and ancient forest. Add to 60 buckets top fed at a diluted rate of 5 gals of tea to 10 gals of ro water which I top feed 1L of that solution once a week. For nutes I'm using magi-cal, heavy a and b, roots excel. About to flip to flower this week but I'm sticking with h16 nutes. Gonna run a test batch with the prime I think on one Rez to see how it works out although I'm a little scared of rot issues brought on by adding prime.

Yep haven't added prime back in yet but I may this week. Just picked up 8 more 1000 watts so I'm about to flip them next week, just trying to build some more roots before flower.

I'm a ebb grower. Use heavy16 for a few years now. Never had that problem. But I don't use roots excel. But heavy is coming out with something to replace it. I probably still won't use it. And the new prime is good. 5x what it was so instead of 500ml I'm only add 10.

I've been here. Mostly lurk. But this was something I wanted to chime in on. Not to many use heavy 16. Oh I should also add that I've picked up a few old or bad bottles of prime around LA area. If its not the 5x its old. If its not fluid its bad return it.
