Headband sour kush from DNA

I've been ordered and just grown from seed for 6 years maken hash outta the weaker strains growen from seed every time and with my last run I got the 6 freebies from dna through the Tude. One of the freebies was Headband, and I fell in love will probably only be clonen and growen her for now on, this was the only strain that could keep me from drinken on weekdays to only weekends. It also cut my red bull addiction down big time another big Plus+ there's even a song about it from 2 chains called headband. This strain is premo the best of the west coast OG kush combined with the east coast Sour Deez.. Both staples in cali and N.Y, You can't go wrong with this strain really makes you feel like you got headband on your head its not the strongest strain but a deep humming buzz that lasts...

So it's gots more of the O.G huh, maybe even better? my headband hermied slightly only lower nuggs. I'm runnen all them seeds now maybe ill find a better pheno cut, don't get me wrong i love a haze high and mixen shit up but I'm turned 35 next month time to just retire with a strain that moderates me.. You know it's good when you smoke a lot less of it too. I'll be blazen every hr this strain I can go 2 plus+ hrs e.z

I've heard good thing abouts DNA Headband, but try Cali Connection 818 Headband if you can too

i just ran a 6 pack of DNA Headband. the winner has hints of Meat smell on her before you trim her down. i know that sounds retarded but its true. i cloned and perpetuated the wrong seed because i thought the real winner smelled gross. like not gross as in good weed gross.... like gross as in yuck gross lol. I'm working on cloning a bunch of the buds from the winner right now hoping to save her. isn't lookin that good tho... was some FIRE and the winner yielded double what the other ones did.

HeadBand strains are like my weakness....I see HeadBand in the name of a strain and something goes off in my head and the next thing ya know I bought it.
I was actually thinking about going back to the roots of where the HeadBands came from and start with my own DNL or DDNL and then cross it....BUT....Luckily I have stumbled across the fact that TOPDAWG has already done it and has some sick crosses with it already.....It is very reasonably priced too so I am going to hit them up on that route and check out their work......just google DDNL or DNL.....

I probably have 35 or 40 packs of seeds in the freezer vault that say HeadBand or HB x ???...I not yet bought or tried anything from DNA or their SourKush....so I would be interested how this turns out for you my friend.....I do remember the attitude had them as freebies not long ago is that how ya got them?...oh yeah I see you got em as freebies!!!....Cool my friend....please keep us informed....

I could always use another good HeadBand..speaking of which!!!!...OH yeah! I can not wait to grow out my AlphaKronic BANDANA <----<<< HeadBand 707 clone x their SnowDawg BX male.........kinda been secretly on an AlphaKronic kick this past year.....guys I was working with did not want anything they were involved with on the net..hence "secretly"....so anyways we are dissolved now and went our separate ways so now I am saying something about it .......anyways a very underrated seed company AKG!.............PS....in that joint venture we made our selections from 120 seeds and I got my own badass snowdog BX male in my male room as well from that project!

Headband is one of my all time favs ..akg also dropped skyscaper kush 707 x sin city kush

ive grown out the sour kush from DNA/ reserva privada ...6 fems ...6 phenos ...ranging from very og to very sour d.

unfortuntely , i've smoked the real HB & find this version not to my standards.
the reason why : HB is true clone only w/ tight nugs , powerful stone, & killer taste & smell.

right now, i have a pheno in flower which is the most sour d leaning plant in my garden in ages.
she throws up a big yield of super frostry, fuely, dank nugatrons.

my first run i mixed all the nugz together for the flip.
clients loved it over jedi kush.

the pheno i kept for extra play time is 60 og / 40 sour d.
in no way is this plant like headband , but i like it.

Grew out the 707 headband clone only in February and passed her around to a couple in my circle....all have had excellent results from her...powerful smoke love this strain! The coloring in late flower is to die for!

i had some "headband" forever ago and didn't realize it til much later. guy told me "its dat paul pierce" and i just said ya ya whatever larry, paul, ringo, I DONT CARE gimme the smoke!

BLAZED outa my head. like badly. he said it was stuff from cali thats the United Pot Smokers brought him.

Most recent DNA run with the winner winner id say was pretty damn close to it but I've never grown out some real deal headband. i had been taking dabs all day then smoked a joint and it choked me out. thats when i knew it was legit.

VERY sour D tho. actually the most sour D I've ever grown. I've grown out Sour D several times too and they all sucked. this one has the Sour D covered for sure. with that little hint of OG with the fruit and spice YUMMY!

Im bout to pop some Headband from HSO that will be a nice little comparison. it doesn't look good for clones from the original winner but o well. theres always better beans to be planted. it wasn't that good that I'm bummed i won't be continuing it but it was pretty fuckin good.

I just came across this while stumbling around the Net as I do.....D-DNL is ChemDawgD x DNL..and DNL is..RFKSkunk x Hawaiian x NorthernLights..... it is the reported to be the original combination used to originate the strain HeadBand.
I honestly believe that I am thinking that these TopDawg D-DNL crosses are going to be the shit as far as some HeadBand goes.....those sick bastards @ TopDawg made a few crosses already, like:
(Bohdi's) SourAfgooey x D-DNL......that is what I am hitting up for sure. For sure @ 80.00 a pack....I am sure it is without a doubt far better then the shit I ran last year from C****V****E !!! you all know who I am talking about. It is the same guy that has burned a lot of us with shit gear and a good sales pitch/tasty sounding pheno...LOL sucker born everyday HUH!

Man, I am not sure what is going to happen here in the next few weeks....BUT....if I do not get word on or any testers in my hands.....I am rolling on with some (AlphaKronic) grows and the next order of business will be to get some TopDawg shit ordered up and on its way so I can get going when I get them.....
I am mentioning these because it is along the lines of what I was already thinking about, just did not know it yet....I am going to give him a try for sure whether testers come or not. If they do then it will be just later on....

I live on the East Coast in a Valley where NOTHING comes in from the outside...NOTHING!!!.....Oh sure, I can order seeds and grow my own.....thing is....that is what I do and what I have to do....there are no samples or examples running around here unless we are talking about a strain called most likely called "PigVomit" or "PigFeces"....so when my buddy from the Army hooked back up w/ me and sent me some samples from California and I went nuts....it was LoompaHeadBand..........and from there........the obsession began.
there are few guys growing around me, but they are not putting anything on he streets for someone to check out.
Just thought I would share what I have found.

it is still around....some are holding it and some are going around as S1's some are the Yeti F2 F3or the EmperorKushs S1,F2,F3...etc.....it is around in many forms..

I am currently growing out these DNA OG x Skunk, they are very nice and I like them. They have a sharp pungent kerosene smell to them, I never grew anything form DNA. I just hope the smoke and high are as good as they look and smell. I will be ordering more from DNA during the August promo.

They are fun to grow, although a little finiky when it comes to eating and they were slow in the early stages of flowering. I got the 13 pack of regs and out of the 13, all sprouted and I got 6 females. There werent but two phenos and those are not much different. Now of the 6 females, there are four that nice resin production, the other 2 are lacking it. DNAs site says 8-9 weeks of flowering, well mine are already passed 9 weeks, they hit 10 weeks on Monday. I checked them 2 days ago and the trich were not ready for my liking. They will be coming down with in the next few days or so. Pending on their smoke and high, I will be purchasing more from DNA, probably their Headband. Now if the smoke and high lack, then I wont mess with DNA and might get something from GGG. But I will keep you posted.

Hello my friend...yeah so far they are looking good........LOL...so did my CV gear that I grew, looked amazing EXCEPT it ended up tasting like shit, the buds looked like cat turds in the bag and just plain sucked so bad you could not smoke it........now as I ran the AlphaKronic SnowDawg2 i n a room beside it as a parallel run....they were beautiful lucious plants that turned out so friggin sweet and blew your friggin head off........
I hope these DNA kick ass for you....I wish NOBODY 3-4 months of time with no reward or the reward you get just is not worth a shit....I have checked around a bit though and DNA is turning out good to go.

Well if there is an option between GageGreen or DNA....well IMHO, there is no option.....it is GageGreen without a question.
