Haze strains on 12/12 from seed.

I just germed two random bagseeds, 1 super critical haze and 1 super lemon haze. I have a small grow cab that used to be a dresser. it's 5.5 ft high 3.5 feet wide and about 2.5 feet deep. I was planning on doing 12/12 from seed on two seperate shelves.

My question is I have heard that haze is super stretchy and gets pretty tall. How will a haze strain react to 12/12 compared to an indica? I may veg for two weeks but size is an issue and i'm not sure.

btw i have about 500w of cfl/floro tubes putting out 30,000+ Lumens. hoping this will be enough for what i'm doing.

I did a fair bit of legwork on this awhile back on here, ICMAG, and a couple other sites. A haze would be perfect for 12/12. Word is, the more sativa genetics in the strain, the better it performs under straight 12/12. Makes sense to me, as these critters are associated with the tropics where it's 12/12 year around, more or less. And ya gotta love getting a sex determination in the first couple weeks!

I popped some superskunks (75% sativa) under 12/12 when my first batch all turned up male, and I already had other plants in flower. They're killing it; I couldn't be happier. I would have done it either way cuz I was determined to get some superskunk out of this grow, but they've exceeded expectations. They've leveled off at 35 inches, and are packing on some really nice bud. Check my link if you've a mind.

Personally, I'd skip the two weeks veg even -- with 5.5' of headroom, you'll be tight as it is.

Awesome. 12/12 it is then. What would be a ballpark estimate for yield. I'd like to get four oz's dry total from the four plants.:joint:

Four oz dry would be possible, and a good yield. I've never grown hazes, but from what I understand, they're kind of a loose thready bud that doesn't get real heavy. But yeah, that's reasonable. I think I'll get an oz each off my skunks when, originally, I thought it'd be a half-zip total. If the strain likes 12/12 as an approach, it will bud out and fatten up almost as good as a vegged plant.

i've read a recomendation that haze plants be 12/12 from seed BECAUSE they stretch.

Nice- i'm going to throw up a journal when they pop through the soil.

I'm hoping 30,000 lumens will suffice . i'd say 70% of the lighting is 2700k and like maybe 100w of 6500k.

doing 12/12 from seed i guess i'm looking at 10-12 weeks.

If i did 12/12 from the start-- would i be able to top them at all? I was thinking that topping a sativa would add a bit more to the yield with the shortened light cycle.
