Hey guys its my 1st indoor grow so im not really an expert on the topic. The other day i was feeding basic nutes like CalMag,BigBloom,GrowBig from fox farms. The thing is the plants side tips are getting crispy and leafs are kinda deformed and just changing overall can someone help out i already tried doing my research but what do you guys think?

3x3x7 Tent
600w Viparspectra(Both Veg and Bloom switch on)
Organic potting soil/ 20%perlite
24inches from tips of the plant
Humidity 40-70 Rh mainly around 55-60
Temp around 80°-84 during the day
Temp around 70°-74 at night
Mainly water for 2 week ph 6.2-6.5
I started feeding nutes after 2nd week of veg at 1/4 recommended dosage Ph 6.2-6.5
Run off water was at 6.0

Looks like start of nute burn and possibly even slight ph issue to me. Just my opinion

I don’t know ff nutrient line but did you give the grow and bloom?
Yeah gave both. Since im using tap water i gave 1/4 than the recommended to start off and see how the plant takes it. Was planning to eventually do 1/2 rec dosage

Um. Unless you pinched or damaged those fan leaves...something is eating your plants.
I'd be looking for caterpillars. Even indoors; nature has a way of finding what she likes lol

Nutrient issues aren't going to cause portions of your leaves to show up missing...

And, if these plants are week 2 of veg, why are you adding bloom nutes?

Not sure that's a nutrient burn but I also doubt they even needed whatever you gave them. I do see some tiny white splotches on the leaves that could be from thrips; they are tiny bugs that are very hard to see; they bite the veins of the leaf and leave behind splotchy white "squiggles." Neem oil or Monterey garden spray would take care of it right away if that's what it is but other than that they don't look too bad to me. Shake the plants and look towards the light to see if any critters fall off. Thrips are a very common issue with growing in soil but also easy to control. Just spray with neem or spinosad to quell them whenever these splotches reappear.... and they will if you have them...I do.
My leaves always had a papery feel when I used tap water and cheapo nutrients. Synthetic nutes btw are defeating the purpose of the organic soil by killing off the beneficial microbes in your soil mix. Once I switched over to a clean non chlorinated water source and fertilizers & compost instead of soluble nutrients my plants were much healthier with shiny supple leaves. Plus no more bothering to check ph or ppm dosage or flushing bullshit.

They look like a tent grow ? Where's the tent ?
Autos?

Personally I'd continue as normal and see what happens. If u what bugs shit deal with them if not your plants are X-Men/ladies

I'd spray them down with water when I stick your head in the tent they are only in veg and it won't hurt them and it will make u feel better

Don't freak out see the problem. Recognize and react but see the problem not see something and lose your shit

Thanks for the heads up i checked all the plants leafs even slighty moved the soil to see if anything would start crawling and i was able to find what looks to be tiny thrip was only able find a tiny one. Ordered some neem oil its already on its way. Also i agree i feel like i used nutes to soon. Since its my first, im getting the hang of it to read what the plant wants.

Thrips are really small & hard to see. There's a lot of them there if you found even just one. They feed on the underside of the leaves so try to spray the neem up from the bottom. Neem will kill em all in a matter of days but after spraying go ahead let them munch; neem fills up their bellies and then hardens making them forget to eat. They starve and die off in a likely painful yet satisfying way. Give at least 2 applications a week apart or more if needed. Spray neem on all your plants when they get to this stage to prevent thrips in the future.
When using nutrients in a bag soil you will need much less than in say a sterile medium like coco. Give them water as needed and only feed nutrients once a week while in veg. Maybe go up to twice a week when they are fully flowering and always at 1/4 strength. If you notice them getting pale go to 1/2 strength but never at the dosage listed on the bottle.....Less is more. Good luck and happy growing!!! Peace

it should be nutrient burn! and the 600w Viparspectra is not a good choice for your garden!
Yeah i think i did over do it. Paid 160 for the Vipar not alot but i would of probably get Optic 1 veg if i could go back in time. I know there's many but have been keeping my eye on Optic Cobs. Any suggestions on lights?
