I'm having a slow go of it getting some simple answers from the people (or person?) at Area 51. I bought their light based on great reviews, but I just noticed that some of the lenses on the diodes are a bit cockeyed. When I checked to see it they could be popped back into perfect alignment, I noticed that some of the diodes were loose and kind of rattled around a bit. Ironically (and thankfully, everything lights up. The few that are cockeyed are too tightly wedged in the hole -I'm not going to force anything. It just kind of bugs me because it was a fairly expensive light in comparison to some of the other ones out there
.
I'm slightly concerned about the problem because they have a written section on their website that explains that the angle of the lens in important so that no light is wasted etc. Well the lenses in question aren't aligned the way they are intended to be .I'm fairly certain of that.
So I sent some emails to them but no response has come. And I also noticed they are out of stock on both their lights on their website! And their forum hasn't had a post in months!
I'm worried they might be going out of business or something .I hope that's not the case because one of the reasons I bought from them was their upgrade deal and 5 year warranty!
Anyone know anything? Should I be worried?
Thanks
