Have you met someone from RIU "IRL"?

Just curious how many people have taken the plunge and thrown caution to the wind and met up with someone on here in real life. No need to comment if you don't want, voting is fair enough. But by all means give us the juicy details if you want!

Can't say I have. Very few I'd actually want to and most of them live far away.

There's been a few posters from my area but IMO they seemed kinda crazy.

Pretty much the same for me. Except I haven't seen anyone from my area on this site before.

I offered to get sunni a plane ticket to California but she told me to go fuck myself. Havent worked up the courage to ask anybody since then

I wouldn't have a problem meeting a relatively sane member if the situation ever arose but it hasn't and that's just fine too.

I met a couple people irl it's been cool. I can say I met some good people.

i've met four, one kinda crazy, one very professional, and two absolutely dopey. all good people.

Hmm, good question! I think I'd probably say, "Hey cool hat", then see where the conversation leads. Still gotta be en garde around these parts!

For sure, probably wouldn't give up my screen name although I have enough pictures up to be recognizable.

Talked to Carne Seca on the phone once, and met with Uncle Buck when he was in San Jose.
I know there are a few members that live close enough but I guess the opportunity just hasn't shown itself...

If I saw someone wearing a RIU hoodie or hat, I would say something... I'm not doing anything illegal so why not?

I would introduce myself if I saw someone wearing RIU hat, and I would wear one, except in this town I'd get followed home and ripped off.
