have u come across an indica that vegs at a fast rate?

was appenin evry1 jus wantin to pull on some of your experiences if gd with u this time round i went with northern lights and am depressed with the slow rate of growth. the internodes are very close together but i am at 6 nodes and the tallest is only 4" i have the 400w hps at 3ft away now trying to stretch em out a bit, but was jus wondering 4 nxt time round if any1 has come across a particularly fast vegetive plant? i have grown g 13 haxe cheese warlock lr2 easyrider leda uno and kali mist it always seems 2 be the long flowering strains that grow best in veg

Well, indica and their dominate strains are by nature a short plant.

Whereas Sativas and their dominate strains are taller and take longer to flower. Like your G13 there.

You'd be much better off putting your light much closer and just let the nature of the plant do it's thing.

I can't think of any benefits to stretching a plant. It won't up your yield, it will make your plant stem weak and will decrease your light penetration.

It sounds like you are a sativa man.

hmmm yes an no i like a nice heavy hit as much as a nice high but isnt 4" super short for its 6 th node? most of my indicas were at least7 or 8 " by then, maybe its wat the nl likes to do. i was jus day dreaming thata all thinking there must be sum super indica that grows at a fast rate , chasing the holy grail if u like . if i had a fast stretchy plant id prob be lookin for a short squat low maintenance nxt time lol human nature i guess the stalk is fat as fck its funny to look at fat stalk but little leaves all packed tight looks like a fcking oak tree or something. im gunna leave lights jus where they are an see wat the nodal spacing is on the next set that pops up

anyone ever been pleasantly suprised ? or even a short flowering hybrid

how old dude,i love indica love it,i find a 2ft indy is as heavy as a 6ft sativa,stretching wont help ,but how old if i missed it

they are hitting week 4 from seed so bout 3 weeks in veg! my temps have been up and down but still im used to a better growth rate at this age, have u experience with n lights, the read up says they are short but i assumed that meant not much stretch in flower not slow veg lol thnx for dropping in bud my medium is rockwool and they started in 3" pots after rockwool cube, 400w hps fed twicw at seedling with formulex cloning nutes, suffered little burn, responded well to flush though. transplanted into 6 litre pots at 3 nodes and give water with superthrive, started seeing yellowing to leaves at bottom so watered a little with half strength vitalink grow a and b formula, not mauch as medium is still wet frm transplanting and didnt want to saturate cubes. i also have wrapped my pots in insulation to aid against the cold, and changed lights 2 20/4 with a heater permanantly on and a cf extracting for 1/2 hr every 2 hrs, temps are now steady 24- 29c fimmed tops and seeing new growth leaves emerging v slowly 6 new sets per plant, been 3 days since fim. also i noticed the bottom branches are growing out to catch top naturally, but again not at an agressive rate in fact the opposite, hope i aint chewed ya ear off but i know myself that it helps to have the full picture so u can judge properly

Short nodes are a blessing, it WILL stretch in flower...... Not sure what you are worried about.

like i said m8 i am used to having a bigger plant at this age than wat it is at the mo. im not worried though thnx for ya concern. title of post was have u come across a fst vegging indica?

Black Domina - All indica 45-65 is the harvest window. 65 being so stoned you cant move and 50-55 is optimal depending on phenotype. Im growing some now (this stuff if from the research i did on the strain) Il post my harvest info in like 2 weeks (im on day 40 i think and hey are fat and daaaamn sexy)

i have seen that strain when mooching it looks interesting, isnt it a purple black plant? thnx for ya comment will look at it again. what sort of height did u get in ya veg period, i usually veg 6 weeks? will look out for ya pics m8

I have a Papaya that is fast in veg and has very large beautiful buds.

It's one of my staples. Very sweet/fruity and a nice well rounded buzz.

The longer it cures, the sweeter and smoother it gets.

You shouldnt have fimmed NL, thats probably a huge part in it not growing like you want it to. NL grows naturally as if it has been fimmed, you know what I mean?

the fast indicas are ones crossed with skunk. ive grown a friends gdp that he crossed with a skunk male and is about twice as fast as the mom.. and 1 pheno turned purple.. but didnt clone any of the seed plants so its gone forever.. ive personaly grown the pure which is pure skunk and it grew very fast as well.. but with more of a sativa growth as well. well now that i think of it.. is skunk pure indica? wow im high.. lol.. im currently growing hindu skunk (hindu kush x skunk) and its one of the fastest plants ive grown. up there wih the pure skunk. and has fat ass nugz and its just week 5 today. im growing gdp and afgoo right next to it and i would say its twice as big as afgoo and 3 times bigger than the gdp. with about x2 stretch at bloom. and med size nodes (2-3 inches)

oh ya, if you are interested in the hindu skunk they sell it on attitude seeds as "Pot of gold" but i forgot the breeder.. but i got mine from clone at harborside in oakland.
