''hash tips''

So I'm growing some Black Widows and I notice one them has that strange white looking tip and after a quick once over with the 30x it's obvious the bud's tipped. I could see that there's no chloroform over the calyxes, they've just got a hint of yellow which is probably xanthophyll/violaxanthin turning to zeaxanthin to deal with all the light intensity, (thank you Ed R :)). Now the last time I did this was with a BS240 and a Super Lemon Haze plant, but I assumed I just fucked up and bleached my plant. So my question for anyone out there is, should I just keep growing this plant like this, it's about 4 1/2 weeks into flowering, or should I drop back my panels back? Is 4 weeks too early to 'tip" a plant and I'm just going to kill it? Take a look.

No Vipar, just BS240 and 5x60 light
Hermie-vision. Now where my Cal/Mag at bitches!

2 other things;
1) I bet it doesn't take too much 660nmm to do this if the article's author is correct about this response. 4 to 6 three watters should do it. Something with a 650 to 665 peak would be great I think.
2) We should call it "keefing", after all the keif you can make doing this. And also for Keith Richards, a somewhat ignored pothead and probably the last white man who knows where to get Jamaican Lamb's Bread :). Plus it sounds cooler than Hash Tipping. Like I'm some fuckin' hick pushing over a cow ;).

Well my hash tipped almost disappeared over time, I thought it would get bigger and bigger but by the time I harvested, some of it was turning green again, or it had not gotten any bigger that's for sure. So just keep growing them. Funny thing is my hash tips were FAR from the light, but they were right in line where many LEDs were directed to, so the buds were FAR from many lights, including the Kessil H350.

Thanks Endur0. The plant is healthy so I don't really plan on moving it or the panels. I just don't want to see it die in 4 weeks or so :(.

And it is about 20" from the A300 above, 8" from a BS240 on it's left and roughly 30" from the 5x60 on it's rear and another BS240 24" to 28" away on it's right, so it's getting slammed. I would love to see it get bigger, but I don't think I'm going to cry if it disappears. Still it's just so much fun looking at all the trichs!
