To collect kief (hash) you need any resinous part of the plant. if you want kief you must do a bubble hash extraction or simply filter through a screen.
To make oil you need to do a butane or ISO extraction. all this info is available on this site and all over the web, use google!

This is some grinder hash i made from mixed sativa and afgan kief, collected passively. smokes like a dream but sometimes i dont see the advantage of cooking it up or compressing ( apart from storing). I mean sure, you get that dirty pleasure of a hashy taste but it doesnt seem to go as far! i like to smoke pure kief when i can, its a clean buzz.
