has anyone here ever heard of putting soil in pants and throwing them over a branch?

i remember a little while back that someone said they would take pants, tie knots in the ends, fill it with soil, then put them up in a tree and grow them that way? anyone ever hear of this? it sounds like a stupid/smart idea in a way

One guy said he'd take the top of a tree , cut it off, screw a bucket to it and plant it. excellent idea for hiding the shit from rippers. of course this should probably only be done in a fairly remote area.

state forest here i come! haha jp but i wish i built a huge tree house when i was younger so i could just plant it on the roof of it, no one would ever notice plants growing on top of a kids tree fort, now i wish i did that when i was younger....

I've seen this with lettuce and herb gardens but not with cannabis. No reason it can't work, other then giving you a small 3' plant.

iv never done it with pants but iv just put a bag over the opening of a pot full of soil and planted a seedling then duct taped it and poked holes for drainage and then cut a watering hole out of the old bottem and hung it in a tree for a really cool upside down white russian in A tree, it just did a big u turn and started growing up past the bucket i wish i had my old phone i would post pics now that i saw this i think ill be doing the pants idea in afew places on my property

has anyone seen tht episode of myth busters where they are on a island with only duct tape and have to survive? since u just said something about duct tape and i just remembered tht, i got a idea... for people that live with relatives or what not, buy tons of duct tape, make a 10 gallon bag out of duct tape and paint it camo, then hang it up in a tree with some more duct tape and just make some kind of pulley to raise it and lower it to the ground to water it, i come up with some stupid ideas and some good ideas some times, not to sure about that one ^^

yaa where im from northern canada its common practice, well not pants, xl sandbags with drain holes and smart soil.. ive seen trees that look like a rasta mans christmass tree.. its done for 2 reasons here 1, poachers.. and deer/moose the fuckers love weed.. idk why but they do..
