Happy time of year! Harvest time. I made it to the farmers almanac best day of November to harvest. Anyone follow this calendar? If it even helps a little bit I'll take it.

as a plus you get to harvest in almost daylight

Is it best to harvest at night? Or is a daytime harvest the same? Does the moon have to be in the sky?

Harvest when your plant is ready not when a book tells you to. Moon phase is going to have zero effect on the harvested product...

that only works if you do everything by their dates. its basically so you know the day you planted and the average time the crops take to harvest. not so good when strains each develop on their own, awesome when you want to know when your corn and veggies that all have the same life patterns are done as they are all planted on the same day. back then we did not have weather reports to tell us the best days each year we needed the farmers who know the weather to tell us. its been this much full moons so spring starts on this moon

I see, I'm not expecting some magic buds or anything. I did harvest on the farmers almanac best day which was November 3rd so well see if there's any magic to it. I also have the same strain harvested last week. Both were ready in terms of amber before harvest. Magic moon or not?

I plant by the moon signs {the moon's position in the sky} and the moon phase. For above ground crops you want the moon to be waxing {growing}. For root crops plant when the moon is waning {shrinking}. I do use the online version of Farmers Almanac. The most vigorous growth is supposed to come from planting when the moon is in the breasts {Cancer}, but there are 2-3 more that made decent planting days.
