My plants are 50% sativa and 50% indica. 14 weeks now into flowering. Hairs turned 3 weeks ago. Trichs were clear a little over a week ago and now they are 80% milky lookin.I want to harvest when they get about 30% amber. Can anyone tell me approx how long it takes from the time the trich's turn cloudy until they start to turn amber? Is the time frame pretty short or does it take weeks? I know everything varies from plant to plant. Just wanted to see if some of you can tell me from your experiences.

How is it up to me? I'm just wondering approx time frame from the time trich's are 80% milky until they start to turn amber? Is it generally a week process or can it take up to 3 weeks? How is it up to me? How can I help the process speed up? Or can't I?

postin pics arent too hard at all.do u have themn on ur computer?? if u do... put them in a folder on ur desktop... then wen u go to make a reply... just click on that lil square picture with a tree.. then click select files. and click on desktop.. and then the folder u made with the pics.. and wallah! just click on the pics.. and click upload files. hope that helps.

sounds to me like u might not have enough light or sumthin.. or ur lights are too far apart? =wat kind alights r u usin. if theyre CFL's.. put them likw 2 inches away from the plant.. and try putin at least 3-4 on the plant.

It is up to you b/c You control the nutrients,You control the environment which the plant grows in...Wrong moves on YOUR part WILL slow down production which can stunt the plant thuss slowing down production.! Has alot to do with you. Ex. underfeed or lock out sum of those vital elements and YOU have slower production and a stunted plant..keep it healthy and its up to the strain..some strains are alike but most different! Just tryin to help answer your question. Just keep an eye on them itll come. And this is from my experiences.

Add Co2 in there..youll see a HUGE difference.

Ok. I got them under 400 wt hps. 7 plants. I've been using bio thrive line. From the time they started flowering Ive been givin them nutes for flowering, nutes for budding and calcium every other water. They have been healthy all along. The buds have filled out nicely, hairs turned 3 weeks ago. trich's 80% milky. now they are just sitting there with no signs of amber. I am wondering...could it be my bulb. I bought it at Lowes. 400 wt hps bulb. At the local hydro store they wanted 70 bucks for theirs. Could there be a difference in the bulbs such as the other having more blue spectrum? But if they have done right all along til now with the bulb I have would'nt they do right in this stage as well?
You said to add co2 in there to see a huge difference. Not to sound stupid, what do you mean by adding co2 lol?

Yea the difference between a $25 bulb, and a $75 bulb is slightly significant...

The ones ive seen, a 400w standard is about 50,000 lumens and about $20-$30. A 400w Enhanced is between 55,000 and 60,000 lumens...and they range between $60-$100.

Apparently the enhanced spectrum has more blue for fuller structure and bud production, and they have more lumens...but i just cant bring myself to spend $100 on a hortilux yet...But its definitely worth it if all your other grow area components are top of the line.

As for your ripeness/maturity...You say you're at 80% cloudy, so perhaps another 7-14 days. That's just my estimate based on your info.

Thank you so much for that information! Ok I'm gonna break down and get me a hortilux. Maybe that will help speed up this process too?

Dude u never heard of adding C02 in there??? Do a lil research...Will pack on major buds since your using HID lighting..

I dont know if you have to change bulbs in the middle of a grow...Just finish up on that bulb, then switch them out and grow again, and see if its more potent than the last crop. Im sure it will be.
