Yeah lua, I did an outdoor guerilla grow a few years ago and had to harvest at the beginning of October because of weather. It was definitely 2 or 3 weeks too early, but the bud was decent enough (I'm sure it would have been better later, but it couldn't be helped). One tip for ekeing out the most grow time though: if it's just night time temps that are getting in the frost zone, and it's still warming up during the day, then you can cover the plant with a black garbage bag (or multiple bags stitched together) just after sunset and uncover it in the morning. It's a hassle, but the layer of trapped air beneath the bag will keep the girl a few degrees warmer than the outside throughout the night. Of course this won't protect against real hard frosts or prolonged cold, but where I'm from it made the difference between harvesting in the beginning of September vs. the beginning of October.
