Harvesting: best time

I have two strains pretty much done flowering. Mango Kush and WW. I am waiting for some amber then want to harvest but what I have noticed with the WW is that its taking a long time to turn amber, its been 8 weeks already and no amber. Its physically looking very done. Most of the hairs are orange, have noticed some turning brown and thinning up. Is this a sure sign to harvest!?
The trichromes are pretty distinctively mushroom shaped as well. JUST NO AMBER!! >

Most of my strains take 60 days to start going amber. But each plant is different. I would just be patient if that is the stage you are looking for.

I don't really prefer any kind. I just read amber trichs were the number 1 sign of ripeness. If they are ripe right now, I will harvest now!

You want cloudy, as much as possible, but the amber is a sign of over ripeness, or degradation of the trichs for the 'couchlock high'.
