Harvest some early- safe?

IMG_9792.JPG IMG_9791.JPG IMG_9774.JPG first post- almost done with first plant. Here is a quick summary, it's been a wild ride so I'll post a full journal after cure.

Started with bag seed, 99 cent store soil and silo cup in window, around early April. Now one left, blooming sensi, 5 gallon pot in backyard. Foxfarm soil. Besides a healthy dose of miracle grow mid summer, she grew off straight water and whatever was in the soil. Since bloom, I add 1ml of head masta per liter (8 ml per 2 gallon watering. I usually space it out). Pics below.

Now, she's been my baby. Topped her twice early and have 4 main stems, with branching. 1/4 of the main stems has top buds that are small and yellow- not sure why but it has been going away with nutes.

Now I know I should wait until mid oct before even thinking about harvest, but I live in an area with bars and I'm worried about someone seeing it from an apartment and hoping my fence. Ive played the hidden in plain site hand for nearly 4 months, and I would hate to lose it all.

Is there a safe way to cut the lower buds so I can get a sample without compromising the rest of the crop? The buds down low look great, not going to yeild much but that wasn't the point of this for me. Considering I cut back on nutes this week, where is the best place to cut if any?

You've got a ways to go. But if you must sample, take a lower bud. Doesn't matter which one.

Looking good though. Good luck the rest of the way.

Thank you so much. safe to just pop them off or snip an offshoot? I got a pic of the offshoot I'm looking at. It's about 1/4" thick and comes from a main stem. I just don't want to compromise anything.

I also got another pic of that weird yellowing. It has been going away, slowly, but it's weird and inconsistent.

And one of the bigger top cola. So rewarding seeing her grow.
