Yeah Harold makes awesome work. I'll tell you from experience what he does(his inside out style) is CRAZY HARD to do.
I just got my first piece from him! Scooped up one of the black opal spoons! I NEED the rose quartz one next.... yes I have a problem.... ... hmm wait a tick... weren't you going to make me something at some point??? I love giving my money to individual artists/makers/designers instead of big companies!

We might have talked about a piece. I havn't made anything new in a few months as I've been between real jobs. But I just posted some stuff I still have available. I'm glad to work out a good deal.

.
I want the third one (the long dark narrow stem that turns into the large clear streaked bowl) the 5th one (the GIANT stemmed pointy bottomed Sherlock... I dont know how I wonte break it but damn it I will try!) and the little green chillum (-: send me a DM or something!

Nice, bro. I haven't blown glass in a few years but I still have all my equipment.

I bought a lathe about 20 years ago and learned from some old friends at a place called California Color Changers.

Our shop was raided during the Operation Pipedreams shit that Tommy Chong got caught up in.

At any rate, nice to see another glassblower around, although I haven't made anything in awhile.

Take care, bud.

That sucks you got caught up in the pipe dream raid. Thankfully things have chilled way out in that regard. They are doing pipe showings at art galleries now. Corning Meusum of glass up in NY has pipes on display and have been hosting classes for pipe makers. Sadly as the economy has been going down hill, so has the pipe market for most guys that don't have a well-established name. I've been working regular jobs the last 4 years and just making some stuff on the side as I could afford materials and had time. Being an artist is a tough line of work, and I've got a family to feed.

I honestly wasn't at the shop during the raid. I didn't get in trouble myself, but the owner was charged. They took all of our pipes and bongs and told us we weren't allowed to make them anymore. They didn't take our raw glass, at least. So we started making glass dildos. That was a fun time in my life...newly married and booth full of porn stars promoting our glass. The good ol days.
