Go back bro it has all the reflecters on the other page, those are good prices on the(white ballast) cool pro and the CAP hood with 8 inch fittings

I use lumatek digital 1000 watt ballast. I like that they are switchable to 240 with ease, but I have 4 of these have had them for 4 or so years. They have ran 12 hours everyday for those 4 years and have a zero problems with the ballast. I would change all hortilux bulbs every 2-3 opps. So in my experience they are very reliable. I bought an extra one when i first got them just in case and it is still in the box!

i would go with a digital galaxy, they come with a 5 year warranty, and they are fuckin built nice...... lumatek also come with a 5 year warranty, but they are homo purple, not the cool dark green we all crave(galaxy) lol , digital ballasts are a lot more efficient as well

Oh yea they are purple. I don't think the plants care about the color of the ballast that is growing it. I would rather look at the purple to remind me what my colas are gonna look like in a few weeks.. But this is a fact that Lumatek does actually have a slightly more lumens when using Hortilux bulb new than any digital ballast on the market. It is minimal, but I had to find a reason to have a beautiful purple ballast to mat my crop, rather than those dull green boxes he was speaking of! What I crave is my SOG of 64 plants topped under 4 1K's. 16 plants under each 1K taking up a total space of 8 foot by 8 foot. 64 plants with a 3.0 oz average per plant, with a 8 week turnaround. Producing approx. 6lbs per month or close to 20K a month!! So yea I love my purple ballast, and the Co2 , AC , Co2 ppm meter, master controller, 1300ppm Co2 constant while lights are on @ 81 F (perfect) 40% humidity and Advanced Nutrients line 2 part. and a few hurricane fans for the carbon filter while lights are off for smell control.

No way your going to get 16 3oz plants per light. Sorry. 3 oz plants are pretty large and would require a ton more space.

16 1oz plants per light is possible though. If you are actually pulling 3 oz from 1x1 plants please send me pics - would love to see that.

I vouch lumateks all the way though.

I'd be curious to know the size of your grow. If you do some light research the 400w actually project further when sampled in similar reflectors. I say this because heat is bad on so many levels - 1000w are hot. I have since gone to LEDS and my grow room is so much more vibrant in air quality no heat created bugs..
