No fireworks myself but they're going off close by. Fortunately only one of my dogs is bothered by the noise. I have Chihuahuas. She's shaking under a couple blankets. The others are begging for food and could care less about the bangs.

No shit. And that's in the city. We felt the 100 MPH winds here too. Probably worse because I'm at the top of a hill in the mountains. It killed our power for like 10 hours yesterday. I hadn't used the generator in a couple years so it didn't want to start up for me. I was super happy to see the power come back on last night.

My 30-06 would work too I'm guessing, lol.

And my AR shoots 5.56 too. Got a case of 1000+.
