If you have any little bud sites growing under the canopy, those are good for monster cropping, and they are just a little harder to get to root, definitely possible though. But if you lolipop your branches well you might not have a suitable cut left to take. Your plants are looking really nice and I wouldn't worry about the light leaves on that one plant, the buds look good, and the leaves look otherwise healthy. They aren't turning brown and falling off-so I think they're fine. Keep up the good work!

Thank you. I definitely have a handful of small popcorn buds down low but they are attached to branches that reach up higher. I will go through it this evening and see if I can find a candidate to be trimmed off and stuck in a rapid rooter to try and clone.

As far as brown leaves, I have plucked a few off of there for sure, but overall I agree that other than the color, every thing else looks and appears healthy. I did give some Epsom salts the other day and if you look at the pics beforehand and afterwards, it does appear that a little bit of green has showed back up. Either way, I've definitely learned quite a bit and look forward to running her again with a little experience under my belt.

Day 49

Came home to the lights off for the 2nd day in a row. Luckily, I picked up a spare timer tonight at the store because mine crapped out on me. It would turn off, but the lights wouldn't turn back on. So, since I was replacing that, I decided to move all 3 plants back into the bathroom into the 4x4 tent under the Phlizon FD6000-O. There is so much room for activities!!! I think I got it all set up and good to go. The only real question I have at this point would be What color should the lights be in flower? When I use the Photone app, the Phlizon measures 5500k whereas the Spiderfarmer measures 4800k. I just noticed tonight that it seemed so much whiter so I thought I'd check it out on the app. Is that going to cause problems in flower?

Lovely fade.

You germed like a day or two before me. I popped mine on the 4th of aug (amnesia haze and gatorslade frost autos). Yours are a fair bit further on than mine. Interesting to see the differences in flower time for sure. I'm at day 40ish for the amnesia and 45ish for the gatorslade, and look to have quite the mission left for the amnesia and probs three weeks for the gatorslade.

I have never had luck getting photoperiods to flower quickly. even if I flip at week three, it's usually another four or so weeks until it transitions into flower...I need to try some different strains as I'll need to run photos over summer to combat heat.

I've mainly tried sativa dominant photos and they can take 6-8 weeks to hit maturity even if you flip at three.

Thank you.
I let these 3 plants (Volcano Girl and 2 bag seeds) stay in veg until they were mature and then some. Volcano Girl was pretty early on showing maturity if I remember correctly. The one I call slow roller took forever. Pretty sure it is really sativa leaning. Hell, she is just now really showing flowers and she flipped the same tome as Volcano Girl. VG just seemed to go fast af. She was flowering 8-10 days after flip so if you go by flip, she is finishing up her 8th week, but if you go by when flowers appeared, she's only at 7.5 weeks. You can see the progress of the other 2 plants in the "random seeds progress" thread.

Day 57

Still looking pretty much the same. She has really slowed down on her drinking. I'm guessing that she is about ready to cut? What do I need to do to prepare for the cut? I plan on leaving a couple of the lower buds on her and trying to reveg her in order to get clones down the road. Is there anything special I need to do to prep for that? If I'm planning on cutting, should I let her soil dry out a little extra before cutting?

Did u ever check out the trichs? Curious what they looking like rt now. I got one (black cherry) thats suppose to finish flowering in 55 days. It looks pretty similar to your pheno type and about same age. I looked at it under a microscope and I see it needs a few more days or a week. Going for all cloudy which i think its almost there. Got a lil foxtailing on couple tops but im going off overall consistency.
Some wait til they see the cloudy then flush for a week or so. Its all growers choice at this point.
This is what mine are looking like with a few trich pics.

To prepare for the cut i like to let my medium dry out. I dont flush cus i use organic nutes. But if u using liquid synthetics give it a few days to a week flush. I dont do the 24 hours of darkness like some suggest but thats optional. No reason to leave any buds in her. When it revegs all buds will die off. Leave the leaves on. Once u start getn new growth of 3 point leaves ur on your way.

Your plant is looking good. I have not checked the trichs. Is that a necessity? It seems that I see so much back and forth on it.

I'm only leaving a few buds on because I don't believe there are any leaves left that aren't part of buds.

Just wondering why u chose to reveg plant over all the other options which imo are alot easier.
For instance:
monster cropping clone
Taking pollen from nanners or just letn them make some seeds for u automatically.
Starting from another seed
For me reveging her would be last resort. The time space and money just don't add up imo. 6 months of food space and pampering it issues.

It is a last resort. I have a few more seeds of this, but I want a clone in case this particular pheno is great. I didn't think about taking clones early on for preservation. I keep learning more about the whole process as I go. In the future I will pull a couple clones early on in order to turn into mothers if the end product is good.

Yep. Some might disagree but it tells the whole story. Once plant looks ripe then u start checking only bud sites. Not sugar leaves cus they amber sooner. Goal is no clear. Then u can do as much or lil amber as u want. Some guys let it go weeks after it appeared ready so in those cases its no need to look at trichs. But some like there smoke heavy couch lock too.
U don't wanna harvest early tho cus ultimately u will be disappointed in results.
