Hailea chiller

Hi All
I have a Hailea model . hc-130A

Currently Im not using it but I wish to shortly. It doesnt chill the water very well...Do they need to be re gased as a air conditioner unit would need

I would think so. But are the seals leaking? I'm thinking of taking up refrigeration as a hobby, haven't studied it.

Is the circulation pump strong enough, accounting for head? The efficiency of chillers suffers when they are not being fed enough water. (I had assumed it was the other way around.)
