First off let me say that I consider myself a law abiding adult. I do smoke pot on occasion but other than that I pay my taxes and am a productive member of society. As a member of society I own and carry (legally) firearms. Any other firearms people here (and no, I don't want to see pictures of you "gat/strap/nine/piece")?

I never carry when I have pot, its a great way to lose your license and have the pot charge become a felony. In my state the commission of any crime short of traffic violations makes the license null and void so you are charged just like any random joe on the street carrying.

i had to dispose of all my guns when i became a felon im not doing 10 years behind a gun but i wish i had a good spot i coul;d store some in in case the shit hits the fan

There is alot of talk recently about banning Handguns in Canada, The are considered ristricted firearms and have many regulations already here. Too many kids shooting each other its really not cool. Hand guns have no use but to kill people. In my opinon they should be banned in Canada

Can canadians not own fire arms sarah? I have .22 Long Rifle, cheap easy to shoot. I am planning on getting a 30-06 as well. I figure that is all I really need if someone breaks in my house I would rather shoot them with a .22 as not to kill em but hurt them pretty bad.

Although, I do not own any, a friend down the street has been a collector since he was 16. He has over 250 guns, and takes me out shooting from time to time. Only has one unregistered gun, which is his tommy gun. We went on a pistol shoot recently. Boy was it fun shooting a 500 Magnum and a 460 Magnum, along with all his lugers, other magnums, and other random pistols. I can post pics if you all would like to see his collection.

In Canada our laws are a bit different only law so I do not carry however I am an avid gun collector I would have to say by far my favorite gun to fire is my Desert Eagle .50AE it fits nicely in my hand, and is just an al around solid gun I also have among many others an M4 with MWS (Modular Weapon System) including RIS foregrip, removable carry handle/rear sight assembly, AN/PAQ-4 laser system, and mounted M68 CCO reflex sight. Which is mainly what I use for hunting strictly on semi-auto, I only ever use burst when I am out at a range and am looking to have fun
I tend to look at guns more from the engeneering stand point rather then the side that would like to use them to harm others, I really dont think i could ever shoot another person unless the circumstances ment thier life or mine. I am however also an avid hunter (tho mainly we dont hit anything just get drunk and high for a week out in the bush)
