Sorry Jo as per the coco I just went with your regular old botanicare coco coir fiber works like a charm with the perlite. The perlite really allows oxygen flow and help prune roots and flush salts as well you just have to water them shits everyday and with hand watering I was slaving my self. This is why I transplanted the ones in the regular nursery pots and put some of the hydro HP to kind of hold some more moisture bcuz it was killing me. The hoes drink alot!!

Arrrrgghhh!! It's only because I brought it up! It's only because I didn't tap on wood! Nobody is safe from the Backspace of No Return!! It's a good thing I'm so fucking high that I don't throw a fit, because it just happened a-fucking-gain. Not actually the same thing, this time, I was trying to right-click and open a new tab of the page before this, but my ultra-sensitive touch pad decided to left click it before I could get my finger near the right side of the pad. Bastard laptop. Acer and RIU, they do not discriminate, they just strike mercilessly.

Anyways, I always appreciate when I get a shout out from a grower I respect. I'm a "Been there done that," kind of fella and I seriously appreciate recognition from someone that has been where I have not. The Potassium Silicate (K2SiO3) is the fucking shit! I will definitely try the DM Gold, but I always have to rep the little guy whenever I can with the DynaGro. Another reason why I am going to organics more and more over my H&G, I like to rely on local farmers and their products for the organics I can't make on my own. Soon enough though I will have my own worm farm. I don't know why I haven't had one since the beginning.

I do my homework like a mad man, and people like you have helped me obtain the knowledge I have. But me and you both know hydroponics is as simple as it gets, it just isn't any fun unless you are taking the time to work and hand water these monsters. My 7 and 10 gal pots can drink for days. But I love it: mo' water'; mo' tissue. Of course, I can't just read all this fantastic information people give me and take all my wild experience and not share it with the world, that is just flat out selfish. I can't stand people who wont pass out cuts of certain strains because they are so scared of you doing better than them. They should be proud of you if you do better, not be scared of losing money, fuck. I am always willing to share cuts, but not everyone feels this way, this is why I have to drive 8 hours up north to go get AJ's Cut, because nobody down here will trade me. If someone really doesn't want me to vend clones of their precious strain just ask me not too, I am a straight-up person and I will not vend something that somebody doesn't want me to vend. I haven't had the space to vend clones in almost a year anyways. Somehow my old grow partner with 1/5 of my grow space always seems to have enough room to vend clones out the fucking ass and keep a full crop at all times.... Then again, he did call me twice last month looking for some meds...

Also: more bud porn please! You've made us go on a long dry spell, and I need my fix! :hump:

Your right newworld. So you guys can understand this grow and why I have been gone for a minute. This grow was in a different setup I started with a drain to waste irrigation system. My plans were to put a minimum of 4 x 1000 hps but shit happens and I had to move everything twice from where it was. So I just said fuck it I need to get rid of this shit. I gave a few cuts to my hommie of each strain and told him I needed to lay low for a while. I knew I could just go get cuts from this guy whenever I needed them again. Then outta the blue an oppurtunity came to me. So I grabbed the ball and ran with it. My plans were to put 7 plants in the 10 x 10 originally with the 2 x 1000 hps the would be the ideal plan but my buddy thought we should just leave the other girls in there instead of getting rid of them and try to harvest the most we could from them. I knew it was a crazy idea and not something I usually do but I said lets go for it if anything we just smoke them bitches and make edibles with the small popcorns in the bottom that didnt get enough light in there. Surprisingly with my experience and knowledge they have turned out better then what I thought. Mind you we rotate the shit out of them and move them around so they all get light.

I actually have 9 pots in there and one of the 9 pots has 2 plants in it. This is something I learned from the man himself Mrdizzle from THCfarmer. I have learned alot about the perlite coco game from him and his trees and yields are serious!! So I said lets give it a try and see how that goes. Everything is coming along great so far.

Ive been on a mission here trying show you guys how I have the lights and plants placed I cant get the X's and 0's to line up correctly so Im going to have to draw one up for you guys and scan it and post it. Give me a min I got u guys.

I believe you can hit your goal.........but with your question being "will" i hit my goal, that will be entirely up to you sir. With what you have in there it is most certain you will, being rotated and moved.

Can't wait to see some nuggage.Good vibes to you and your grow sir.

Here you go Jo just a little nug porn for you guys. This from my last run some Giesel, Chem, and BubbleBerry enjoy.

Picture 583.jpg This is some Bubbleberry. Nugz were very dense coated with trichs. Smell was more of a fruity earthy tone nothing out of this world. High was strong body high great for pain management. I give this an overall 8 from a scale of 1 - 10. This is just my opinion. Im more of kush and sour kind of guy but thats just me.

Picture 577.jpg Picture 591.jpg Picture 578.jpg This is my chem cut. If I would of left her more time I believe she would of been more purple but trichs said take that bitch down so I did. This shit is some Fiyahhh!! I have never really had anything ever smell like this. It was a pungeant lemony fuelly taste with a hint of I dont know wtf, it may be like a grapefruit or guava I dont know it was very distinct. High was amazing! I think I can actually give this strain a very strong 9 leaning towards a 10 maybe even a 10. More of a sativa great for your all day smoke but dont take her for granted she will put you to sleep I enjoyed vaping and bong rips from this bud. Cant wait to have her back around. Im gonna stock up on this one this time around.

Picture 580.jpg This is my beautiful amazing Giesel. I love this strain. I only have one plant that was a mother in this current grow and she is straight head stash (I mean this) LOL. This is was my favorite strain from last run and probably the best strain Ive ever had to be honest with you. Its got the best of both worlds Kush and Diesel combined make this a 10 overall. Smell will reak up your whole house. With this being a hybrid the stone is all over, both body and cerebral. This shit gets you lifted. The smell was a strong kushy sour smell and the bud structure and appeal was great. Everyone loved this strain and couldnt get enough.

Look at that I even through in a mini smoke report for you guys to keep you entertained untill I get more pics and info up for you guys soon.

Stay Tuned........

Bravo! Bravo! I've never encountered bubbleberry, sounds tastey though. Chem Dawg can be a fickle bitch! But dear lord is Chem Dawg good smoke! One of my favorite all time smokes, and I was very proud of my finished product and babied the plants as they grew. But like I said, she is a fickle bitch and I eventually had to remove her from my garden. She went systemic before I even saw a mold problem appear on another plant. Chem has great stem growth, for a clone only strain, I guess it really depends on who mothered her before me.

That Giesel is what catches my eye though, that looks like it would compliment the SFV OG just perfectly, very similar structure. Me and you have to get together one day for a smoke off! I went so long resisting Blue Dream, because everyone grows it, and they usually fuck it up, but mine are doing so well it will never leave my garden! I couldn't have even fathomed that blue dream could be this frosty or sweet. The sweet fruit smells carries on past the front door of my house. You can smell it in the driveway, lol. I have an extra filter but it ways 50lbs and the Blue Dream gets it's very own tent at the moment. I always like having a test cab for new strains before introducing them into my main bloom room.

What im saying is that my goal is to pull 1.5 grams per watt which I know is possible.
1.5 gram x 2000w roughly (280,000 lumen)
is 90 oz from 10 plants

that i do not think is possible

to get 1.5 grams per watt would require exceptional management of space available
to fit that much/cola bud in that amount of space that 2000w of footprint of light can cover is a huge achievement .. many may claim this but as we know, many people claim many things

9 oz per plant each plant getting an average of 28,000 lumen obviously subject to distance from the lamp

as a side note 3 x 600 w hps at 95,000 lumen each would give you slightly more light (285,000 lumen) using less wattage (200w), with the advantage of giving you better spread across your crop .. why did you not consider this .. ?

now to break this down to get 9 oz from 1 plant that is 6ft+ tall with only an average of 28,000 lumens max available sounds ludicrous to me
having grown many larger plants myself i am aware of how much light they need
to fully cover them and produce nice tight dense bud

10 plants over 6ft tall only receiving this amount of light are not being grown to their full potential in my opinion

whatever yield you get good luck i hope it all turns out great for you :joint:

Sorry for the lack of updates guys. Everything is coming along great so far. I forgot my camera last time and couldnt take pics. I promise tomorrow I will have some updated pics. I have to go to work in this tent. The big trees are getting too heavy and starting to fall over so I need to tie up some of these branches and move them around to place them better. Maybe I will throw some trellis netting on them as well. Lets see how this goes. See yall tomorrow.

Here we go..... Girls at 27 days of flowering. Really begining to plump up. Sugar leaves are frosting up nicely and the smell that comes out of the tent is amazing. I had to pull them out yesterday while I was working in order to work in the tent and they reeked up the whole house for the short time I had them out of the tent with no filter. Pure kushy, musty, sour, fruity, pungent, and lemony. Its hard becuase the smells are different from all strains and are all strong so sometimes one smell over powers another. I really look forward to the XXX OG kush, they are developing alot faster since they are a 55 day strain and shorter than my sativa dom strains. The Giesel is the most frosty out of all of them and she is huge! Too bad I only have one in this run. Hope you guys enjoy. Gotta run I got a bunch of shit going on today so I gotta keep it short.

Peace,

MEGA

Jo I cant thank you enough for introducing me to the Potasium Silicate. These babies are throwing pure donkey dicks. Nothing but colas and more bud sites than what Im used to. These colas are starting to fill in like your last grape krush run you posted pics of them on my last thread vertical trees but with triple the bud sites and alot bigger trees. With my experience and the silica worked into my feeding program Im going to take over the game down here.

Thanks buddy,

Hey MEGA, I'm a big fan. Hope you don't mind a little thread interrupter, and some Q and A. This is my first grow and due to extensive lack of funds... I started outside. After about 3 months, horrible weather conditions, and 2 plant deaths I moved my last plant inside. Into my closet. Its been inside for the past week, I have only watered it once since bringing it in ( RO Water ) and the dirt is still moist and actually a little cold. All I have is a 20W Fluorescent tube light, and a little 13W CFL that's "60W equivalent." A small 4in. table fan, due to practically no air circulation in the closet. The plant is in a corner in a 3 Gallon bucket, receiving good light, but I'm scared its not enough. Side branches are just now starting to grow. I'm happy, the top cluster/node is filling up with pistils, I am sure it's a female but the plant has been thru so much already I am worried what could happen. My main concern is the plant is about a foot tall, the bottom half of it is dead. The top half is thriving and the leaves are a beautiful green, with a light glitter from the trichs ( I'm guessing ). Also the main stem plus the little stems connected to the leaves are beginning to turn purple. I am giving the plant 18 / 6 right now.

Should I change my light hours? I definitely want to introduce a better light when I get the chance, what would you suggest for a beginner that won't cost much, both bill and light? Is the purple anything to worry about with the plant being so small? Is the dirt being slightly cold on top bad? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. The strain is the same Ed Hardy you are running. no camera at the moment.

Damn dude you rock that potassium silicate like a fucking champ! Your noding is like outdoor, it is really unbelievable. I think you are going to blow the skeptics away with this one bro! You're making me feel bad because I only have like, 5 plants in my bloom room right now and they are just barely starting their flowering.

Whats up lil buddy. You sound exactly like someone I know very well. I can almost here you saying this to me while I read it. Its funny LOL!! You DO NOT want to give your plant straight RO water. You need to mix some cal mag in there or your plants will turn all yellow and die. Plants need certain nutes or they will start to show signs of deficiencies. That is whats happening to your plant right now. Your plant was dying outside probably due to overwatering from the rain and heat. The purple is a dificiency and due to stress. Your better off just getting some regular soft water from your water softner, the carbon filter will filter out the chlorine but not take out essential minerals in the water that will help your plant get going and come out of that shock she is in. Dont worry about it I got something for you. Just PM me whenever you have a chance. I know you are new here. PM is a private message. When you go on my profile just click send private message and we can chat better through there. Hope this helps a bit. Happy growing!

Ohh Limit my bad, about the light... Keep her in veg bro she needs it right now you dont wanna put your plant 12/12 yet she is too weak. Wait till you see some new growth. Since your bottom is dead you want a few more nodes at least and give that side branching a chance.

Yeah I bet you didnt. I guess people here under estimate me because of my post count or something. Thanks for the compliment. I am pretty low key about my stuff and have a close circle on here. You are welcome to stop by and post whenever you like. You are one funny dude! I can only imagine having a smoke session with you. I'd probably piss my pants. I will have updated pics up soon stay tuned this is going to be a good one.

Tell ya what, I'd love to smoke wit ya, and I'm boring as fuck in person...All my wit, banter, and charm is wasted on the internet...Something about writing/typing helps me compose my thoughts, but I'm really just a bumbling idiot in person...lol...But yeah, I definately love the operation you have going on, I'm still on year one of a 2 year plan, and am looking forward to year two, when the REAL fun begins...
