Guess Who's Back??... Monster Trees Back In Full Effect!!!!

You guys may remember me from Vertical Tree Grow?. Im back with what I was talking about and planning for a while. This is it and now that I have everything dialed in there is NO stopping this train. I am running a 10 x 10 growlab with only 2 x 1000 HPS Vertical Cool Tubes of course! Vegged all the way with HPS started with 1k and shortly after introduced the other 1k. Same food I used before all GH Flora Nova Series exept for some dutch master gold silica I am using this round and WOW this stuff is amazing (Thanks Jozikins for introducing me to this stuff). These babies are already two weeks into flowering today pics were taken yesterday they are the most recent and sorry not the best. Some of these girls are in regular nursery pots some in hempy buckets and the others in grow bags all 10 and 12 gallons. I am using 80/20 Chunky Coarse Perlite/Cocco mix and some of them I repoted and added the Bcuzz Hydro HP mix around the Perlite/Cocco mix and I have had a great success with these girls. I am looking to pull at least 6 Lbs from these 10 girls minimum with these 2 x 1000 HPS regular old magnetic ballast nothing fancy with some Hortilux Eyes. Please feel free to ask any questions as we go along and what do you think about my goal for the 6 lbs from this room and conditions. Sorry for anything I left out. Ohh yeah duh??!! I am running Sour Bubba, Chemdog, XXX, and Bubbleberry.

Looking good but can you briefly describe the exact placement of lights and the plants in your space. I voted yes because everyone deserves to bank 6lbs...

This looks interesting i like growing the odd big plant here and there

i managed to get around 12 to 15 oz from larger plants like the plant in my avatar , vegged for about 7 to 8 weeks final height 5 ft it was barneys sweettooth grown in NFT

to cover that whole plant in light i used 2x 600w over the 1 plant, as it was so wide i guess i could of used 2x 400w doubt i would of got 15 oz from it though if i had

6lb from 10 plants is around 9-10 oz per plant, so i know that's possible,

if you can get 10 oz per plant with just 2000w of light, that will be amazing

to be honest i would want at least 4000w to cover all them plants, which would only be 400w per plant,

Thanks for stopping by Skunk. I would of liked to go with 6 x 1k's but for certain reasons I was only able to put 2 1k's for the moment but I rotate them daily to make sure they get light all around these girls are already 5 ft tall, well my sativa doms at least. I calculate at least 6.5 ft plants at harvest. I know 6 pounds for 10 plants is possible when u calculate it like that but u also have to look at other factors like your lummens and watt per sq ft. If you do the math I think its pretty impressive if I pull that most growers yield roughly about .5 grams per watt. 6 lbs for only 2000 watts is roughly 1.5 grams. In my books that is very impressive. Ive been doing this for a while and have worked my ass of to amcomplish yields like this and mind you i am hand watering this is not NFT or DWC or any self watering system just good old fashioned hand watering. Thanks bro. Stay tuned im putting on a show for yall. I usually like to document everything from begining to end but for personal reasons I was not able to this time. I will be updating you guys as much as possible. Next week on day 21 I will be deleafing the F out of the girls. Coming soon.....

What im saying is that my goal is to pull 1.5 grams per watt which I know is possible.

Just some canopy pics for yall. The girls are only on day 17 today. Pics taken yesterday. These things are getting so big I can barely work in there. I think I over did this one. Cant wait to see the outcome.



These are my smaller plants I was able to stand over them and take pics. The big ones are too crazy!!!

This is my only giesel plant this run but im making sure that she is a big one. I love this bud. Its the bud in my avatar. Simply AMAZING!!

The smaller ones you see here and the canaopy shots I took are the xxx kush pheno. Heavy Indica traits she is shorter and super bushy with a monster trunk on them. I look forward to the purple stinky kush nuggz! Flowering time on these sexy bitches is 55 days.

These monsters are the Chemdog. These girls are sativa dominant and yield very well. They also turned out super fire my last run. I have actually never really seen bud like this before I grew this strain and the smell on it was signature.

Hope you guys like them as much as I do.

Thanks for the support guys. Its funny to me how the people who have voted NO to the pole are noobs and have no idea whats even going on in here. I looked up these peoples profile and they are rookies who have never even grown a plant. I never talk about something I dont know and when I comment or give advice I make sure I am right and I have personally experienced it and done exstensive research. I would like to hear from the people who vote NO and know why they think its not possible. I can take NO for an answer its not about that but dont just hate or talk shit when you dont even know why you are saying NO. Feel free to comment IMHO this is something that is possible. Im not saying its gonna be easy and anyone can do it. Its gonna take some work and experience but I believe I will achieve my goal. Its about a good 1.5 grams per watt which can be done. Now if I would of said 10 lbs, ok I can understand why someone can say NO.

Anyways guys youve seen the latest pics. I took those right before I plucked these girls. I had a whole garbage bage full when I was finished and they are still bushy. I usually deleaf on day 21 of flowering, but in this case I had to pluck them early becuase light was not really getting inside and we dont want that to happen.

Why does RIU do bad things to good people? I just wrote out the nicest and most flattering post welcoming you back and thanking you for the shout out. But of course, if you press backspace at the wrong time (which is completely decided at random by RIU) it deletes everything you write out and sends you back a page. GFDFML (God fucking dammit; fuck my life, for future reference.)

In summary:
Happy as I can be to see you back and growing here on RIU. The combo of super meaty delicious sugary stems, constant rotation, and your experience should be enough to pull 6lbs off those monsters with just your 2k. I appreciate the shout out, and I'm sure I talked a few times about Potassium Silicate and it's supreme awesomeness, but I do not believe I recommended the Dutch Master variety, unless you had already mentioned you like Dutch Master and I recommended it based off of that. 99% of the time I recommend DynaGro Protekt. I fucking love the attention, but I don't want to steal someone else' thunder.

But I bet the Silica has a little bit to do with those meaty stems, doesn't it?

You did, by the way, inspire me to do a lot of vertical growing in my veg rooms. I am always short on power with CFL, and I am using horticulture grade 125 and 250w CFL, but vert is a great solution! I am rebuilding my bloom room actually, 2/3 of the way done, and the idea was to better design my room to accommodate vertical and/or horizontal lighting. My grow partners that I recently moved in with have a good grow space and 2 excellent hoods, XXXL Magnum 6" A/C by Sunlight Supply, so they are hesitant to give them up, but I am redoing this grow room to make all use of light and ventilation as efficient and effective as possible, and I've done a very good job. The idea is to grow in horizontal settings under ideal conditions with same strain and number of plants, then do the same thing vert and see what happens. I would also like to scrog once and see what happens. I will probably use twice as many bulbs in vert, as I am not home as often as I used to be, and cannot rotate plants all the time, so I will used twice as many bulbs until my grow can pay for me to stay home. My grow partners could rotate plants, but they are forgetful to say the very least. Anyways, I am not thread jacking, I just wanted to boost your ego a little bit. Let you know you really did inspire me.

I went on a 8 week search of good Giesel locally after your last grow, no joke, and some how I ended up with some really good Sour Diesel seeds by Cali Connection (AJ's Cut [East Coast Sour Diesel] x Afghani #1 from Elite Genetics) and bought them because they were the last pack of seeds of this amazing strain anywhere. I hear good things about CC's Sour D. CC's OGiesel was right in front of me, but I was too tempted by the Sour D. There had to be a reason they were 30 more bucks a pack, lol. But I still want some of that Giesel, it looks soooo tasty!

Boy oh boy would I love to sit in front of your garden with a few bean bag chairs and a bong, and shoot the shit. I'd go cross eyed trying to learn everything I have to ask if I read it all.

Also, what type of coco do you use? Do you use the fine husks or the chunkier haul/husk combo? If you use the chunky stuff I got a picture for you that'll make you shit bricks...

OMG I hate that Jo. Its happened to me quite a few times. Thanks for the warm welcoming my friend. Let me correct my self here. I was shoting you out for the potassium silicate in general. I know you swear by the Dynagrow but I was told when I went to buy this stuff from a master grower to go with the Dutchmaster Gold series for the silica. He said that dynagrow is good but the dutch was one of the best lines for the silicate. I went with his suggestion bcuz he has tested and proven his methods.

I am happy to hear that you are attempting vertical lighting setups and I know you will do great. You yourself are a great grower and really have your shit together. Ive read some of your post on dres thread and you definately got the hydro game on lock I can tell youve been doing your homework since ive been gone. I think its great you searched for the giesel its a hard one to find. But you did score some fire sour my friend AJ's cuts kick ass. Everyone needs some sour in there garden.

I would love to have you over one day to actually witness these yields and monster trees. When ever ur in my area holler at me. Send me a pm at any time brotha.
