growing near a school or church

The way I read the law is--no MM on school grounds. I seen nothing about being so far away like sex offenders must be.

The problem I see however is kids trying to steal your plants or them, saying something about the odor to their parents. Police hate hearing complaints, even if the stuff being complained about is legal; I would try to stay low key as possible and keep the grow up way below the max plants, just in case the police do show up to investigate a complaint.

Same for churches expect I believe MM is legal to carry like in the trunk of your car. Maybe even inside the church if the people who run the church is OK with it..heck Toronto has a church that worship pot, the USA might have a few as well.

Maybe we should open a marijuana church in Michigan, lol

Yeah Canada is totally different, the law is very different over there.

Growing near schools is illegal in many cities in Michigan but those are licensed grow ups, not just one MM person growing their own MM on their land near a school. The cities are pretty limited on what they can do when it comes in individual MM rights. We have a right to use MM on our own property, it could be right near a school but again I would not sit in my backyard and toke up while the kiddies are playing on school grounds right near my land.

I'm really glad I don't live close to a school, very glad. Beside those places are like a fort now of days, if one even takes photos of a school, they could find themselves being investigated..and thats legal to do I believe ?? Then again the way the law can twist facts around, who knows.

The biggest issue you will have is smell. I would strongly recommend setting up a true sealed grow with no air cooled lights. Invest in good charcoal filters and fans to run them. Harvest smell is something overlooked by many. Having a sealed harvesting space being scrubbed with carbon is the best option imo.

RX, with a sealed room to dry, do you even bother with jar curing?

I actually rough trim and hang the entire harvest in a climate controlled room (a/c and deumidifier) purpose built for drying and hash making. I turn about half of it into dry sift after hanging on the branches for 30 days minimum. The other half I make water hash with fresh material. Very little is turned into cured bud. A sealed room will never go anaerobic which is what you want to happen inside of the jar for a proper cure. I usually jar cure for 14 days, close the jar on day 0 and don't open till day 14. Just make sure there nice and properly dried beforehand.

Starting a pot church would be an excellent idea , I’m sure I would join , I used to go to church but quit because the members are such hypocrites , They believe God created the plants we have but yet they sit back and allow the dark side make our plants illegal to grow , every church should have had on their billboard – “ give us back our right to grow what God gave us “ But no they would rather agree with the dark side .

coptic christians and star island probably did in the church thing, even though we're suppose to have religious freedom, that would be too easy.

real or not, this is funny.
Not a bad idea , but why not take it a step further , copy Colorado , everyone can grow 12 plants , money to feed the the poor , the homeless , the sick , give them the ability to create their own oil , a charter in every city and county , I can see the headlines , LEO raids and shuts down the local homeless shelter , Why not put God on our side , after all its Gods gift to us , God has a reason for the plant .

It be easier to start a church that worship weed in a state that has legal weed for all adults. If they are adults, they are welcome to join if they agree with some guidelines. Only problem is, smoking weed in public isn't also legal in any state I believe, so no smoking pot in "church"

We need to find a way to band together and grow stronger.

no MMMP laws prohibiting growing near schools or churches..
so far as I know, you can't do it within 1,000 feet as the crow flies door-to-door....here in Michigan anyway, but I think it is related to Fed standards on drug free school zones, so it might apply elsewhere.

Banding together is as simple as talking openly about it. Take paranoia to the extreme and imagine that the patriot act is being used to monitor every security camera hooked up to a network. Now, I'd assume that they would use private citizen conversations to figure out what they have to say to stay in office.....no, they wouldn't do that.

i repeat, there is no law in the MMMP prohibiting a patient from using or growing near a school. If you are not a medical patient, thereis punishment for growing near a school.

What's your thoughts on the dry sift vs the ice water hash? One better than the other?

Lately I've just been making dry ice hash. Simple and effective~and most of all, it doesn't take all day. Trimming weed and sifting worm shit already consumes enough of my time..... I don't need another hobby that eats up hours.
