if you searched worms, i think you'll find it was suggested NOT to put live worms in your pots. they'll most likely die. and it's no problem if they do, they're 90% water. but they'd be better off alive in your compost pile.

but this is right thread for this issue. anyone have experience with worms surviving the whole grow in a pot and being released after cutting?

I have some, they were in there for about 3 weeks, then I transplanted and they were still alive then. That's the last I saw of them... I started a worm farm thing in a bin, but that didn't turn out very well, they weren't eating the newspaper, so I just freed them (I had about 300 worms that I found in my woods).
