Grow Tents

Hello,

I was wondering about the different kind of grow tents there are.
I have been looking at Grow Tents
But what is difference between Homebox/budBox and Darkroom??
I was thinking about going for XL, anyone who has any experience with these products..

They all appear very similar(i personally think they are almost the same). I have a buddy who just got a homebox and I am very impressed with it. It was easy to setup and is very well made.

i use a 1.2x1.2x2m budbox for bloom, its ok, there was 2 or 3 tiny pinholes in one side of the cover, no light got in during lights off, but i could see the pinholes glowing during lights on, i just covered the holes on the inside with small patches of duct tape, temps much more manageable in the tent than my previous "solid" room. 3 of the plastic corner connectors broke while putting it up partly due to them being such flimsy plastic and partly due to the cover being fairly tight getting it on, you can buy replacement connectors fairly cheap but i replaced them all by making my own out of 3inch square blocks of wood and drilling into them where the poles insert, they wont fuckin break now! I think all the major tent brands use the same type of connector, so it all depends on how tight/loose the cover fits over the frame. There was alot more problems with earlier models, and theirs lots of fakes being sold on ebay and the like. If i were gona buy another tent id probably go for the secret jardin.

yea i just ordered my self a secret jarden dr80 for 150 its the ONLY tent out that can hold enough weight to support my hps with built in ballast

i have my cooltube reflector, 5inch rvk fan and carbon filter with all the ductwork, a 600w ballast with all wiring timer and contactor and a clip on circulation fan all hanging from the top of my budbox and it holds the weight fine, even when i was still using the original plastic connectors.

using my homemade connectors it could easily hold alot more weight than it does at the moment, easily get another 600w ballast and cooltube system and a 6" rvk fan and filter to push the extra air thru two cooltubes! hmmm... mite do that this winter.

Wow okay so I see you have grown in Bud box, please tell me why you would go for secret jardin, Londoner.

ive heard better reviews about the secret jardin tent, iv read a few threads on a site here in the uk where so many people hate their budboxes although it does sound as tho they bought copies, issues with zips failing, not being lightproof around the stitching and stitching coming apart, i like the look of the "street" darkroom range, a whole heap cheaper and its got a more reflective silver inner lining.
