Working with seedfinder.eu to create a grow tracking website. Trying to make it VERY easy to use.

This is just a little preview. After 3 days of work. I am looking for any suggestions.

The only thing i can think of to add would be someway of tracking nute levels and such. Site looks great though, great addition. +rep

Will do on the nute tracker. Can do a watering scheduler. With pre-sets, and an option to make-your-own. Possibility of adding email/site message reminders to water/change res/ etc.

I'm currently working on implementing http://en.seedfinder.eu 's database into the "New Plant" page.

Any other features you see fit, please let me know.

really, really like the site, i think a good addition would be a common problems section , such as likes alot of nutes , or gets nute burn easily, doesnt like cold temps etc , another good thing which is just a personnal preference of mine would be a section where you could say if you have grown the strain 12/12 from seed and if it was successful or not, alot of people on the 12/12 from seed thread ask the question of which strains can be done in this style of grow it would be interesting to be able to have somewhere to use as a reference for this :)

Yeah, not everything is functional atm. still working on getting some basic features running before i finish everything up.

Currently working on a blog project for a neighbor, so development has been a little slow atm.

But just to keep things updated, here is what I'm currently working on:

Added -
"View" Column on plant tables. Will link you to plant page to view height tracking, individual watering scheduling, and picture that are uploaded of that plant.​

Working On -
Rooms page. Not sure exactly how these pages will fully layout yet. Things will just come together as I go, and change/adapt. Will currently have support for Temp/Humidity Tracking, High/Low/Avg.
Light Tracking. Display Light Info (Brand, Type(Mag/Elec), Wattage, Bulb) And track your bulb hours based on runtime(future bulb replacement alerts(email/site)).

Condensing Some Page Code. View plant charts with one page. Can either view a single selected grow stage, or view all grow stages at once. Could just leave it at all grow stages viewed, but I think that would make things more cluttered with larger operations with more plants.

Got the plant pages recoded.

Started working on the room pages... Got some nice progress, but I'm hitting a wall.. Havent slept yet... Been busy coding/working down in the grow room.

So... Guess I will get back at it after some sleep.

Newest idea:

Not to replace Grow Journals here on RIU or anything... but

With the "Public Journal" option enabled.
Site will compile a week-by-week Journal. Options on what to show in the Journal will be Plants by Plant #, Plant Pics, Watering/Feeding Schedule, Stages....

Still in the idea stage, havent starting working on it yet... Still have many other things i've started and need to finish before I get into advanced features. Need to get this puppy up and functional.

Really like this idea but will there be protection for guys that want to journal but dont live in a legal state or legal country ?? i was thinking along the lines of password protected journals OR you have to be invited into a certain group before you can view the other users in that groups journal ?!?

of course. there will be levels of anonymity that can be used. those are both great ideas. will have to look into implementing that.

Im shooting for sometime before January. Being that its just me coding.

I was thinking about a beta, and that could come in the next month or 2. As the site is usable, its just missing some features atm.
Project has been coming along kind of slow atm, because im working on another website project for a neighbor, and hit a big snag on that one. And then ive been harvesting lately, and going to be building a new room sometime in the next few weeks.

Just need to get around and get a domain registered ^^ lol
