Grow space VERY limited

So I am having a HUGE problem figuring out how to set up my grow closet because, well, its a standard size closet with the folding doors. Maybe 6 feet wide and no more than 3 feet deep. I need to set up lights and after watching a video on the tube I realize there is so much more to lighting than I realized. I'm in a small home and am not sure about the capacity of the breaker box, I know we overloaded one circuit during the winter running a small heater in the bathroom so breaker overload is a concern. Also this poses a heat concern as well.

I'm planning on white plastic sheeting (on a tight budget) and also am considering what type of fan to use. All the videos on the tube are full blown setups and I just don't have the resources for that. I will have no more than 7 plants at a time and more than likely putting at least 3 outside after a month of growing inside. One is at the 4 week mark and the rest are seedlings.

I appreciate any and all advice you guys can give!!! thanks for listening!

I believe I have a similar closet to what you are describing. For the lights, mount them to the ceiling with a pulley system to adjust them. You can use whatever lighting you want, just remember you need to cool it also.

For the fan, maybe an inline fan with ducting running into the attic. If you can't cut holes, well... Idk what you could do then.

maybe a box fan or something smaller? also, what kind of setting, low for minimal shaking or higher for air flow purposes? on the lighting I was thinking FLO's myself but I read that it would take the plants forever to veg that way. Home Depot has a flo grow light with hangers for like $50 I may go with that.

thanks so much for replying!

Use CFLs because heat will be too much of an issue if you can't cut holes in the ceiling. All you will have to worry about with cfls is that they (plants) get enough oxygen which can be accomplished with PC FANS. You can also use the backside of chip packets which are usually made of reflective mylar. I drink about 10L of juice every week, and the little juice packets are made from nice, thick mylar. I just collected them for a while.

Forget Home depot go on line and look into T5 florescents, that's what I use and they work great, they usually come withe 6500K lamps for veg and buy 3000K lamps for flowering. Elect is low watts and cool. I too am limited to space so all I have is a 2ft 2bulb fixture, I can grow 4 plants with no trouble. Indicas of course, sativas are too tall for me. From what I've seen and heard cfl's aren't that sufficient. That's my opinion at least.....Good luck and happy growing my friend.
