I know this is late, but great job and great thread. My girl loves growing, after she planted her first seed she was on board. Just a little suggestion, grab yourself some epsom salts, gradually increase dosage starting at about 1/4 tbsp per gallon at 2 weeks, itll drastically increase nute uptake and help with the leaf tacoing i noticed. Other thAn that, you did an epic job mate, im excited to see my haul with cfls see how it compares. Good luck on your future grows, it goes up!
Thanks for the input & comments man. Grow strong :leaf:

Thanks for the kind words fellas I haven't been in this thread for a while..... I am working on a new grow, since this grow ended I've picked up a 250hps and a sweet tent. The lady is in full support of my homegrow. For those interested, the short rider was a great success as far as the process went- learned a great deal about how to grow, harvest & cure, which was my original intention.

Now as for the smoke, it can definitely only improve from here. The nirvana genetics, while proving easy to grow and an excellent learning strain, left a little to be desired in the "dankness" dept. Short rider and Swiss cheese, which I also grew out (to learn differences in reg. & autos) both taught me a lot and now I'm on to my first "big boy" grow. Gone are the CFL's (except the ones I kept for my veg chamber).

Currently I am running Dinafems Blue Widow strain and Cheesequake from TGA. Blue widows are about a month from harvest and a CQ a few weeks behind those. I'll post a few photos tonight if I get a chance.

Cheers

I can tell u that the buds are much thicker & much more dense this far along than they were under cfl. The light penetrates way further down into the lower foliage vs cfl. Literally it is a huge improvement thus far.
