Grow room too hot ?

Ima start by saying my grow is in the Center of my house and I have got about all the ventilation I think I can have (room is about 4ft x3ft x7ft), that being said my light on temp is 29c (84f) that’s even with a cool mist humidifier in the room Which tbh idk if that actually helps , but my plants are young so the humidity increase is nice .
My light is a 600w hps with digital ballast that’s turned down to 250w.
any input is appreciated :bigjoint:

I had this exact same problem and the only way i could deal with it is by keeping the bulb on 250w on hot days and on cool days i would turn it up to 400w or 600w

General rule of thumb if your asking about heat. Is to put your hand at the canopy level. If it starts to get too hot. Pretty good chance the ladies are not happy. Also can watch out for visible stress signs. Got a picture?
What you are saying is true, it will stop the leaves from burning. if you put your hand at the canopy level. But his room is very hot and the plants will probably suffer from heat stress rather than leaf burn if that makes sense to you?

My point was agreeing with you entirely. Probably a step up in ventilation and another fan blowing directly on them. I have many more grows than I have put here ^_^

It will depend A LOT on what strain you are growing.

Some strains like temperatures to stay 70ish, others can tolerate anything up to 85 or maybe even higher. It's not ideal at all, but i've had a few strains that actually did just fine flowering with temperature at 83-84. Other strains did VERY POOR and suffered at the higher temps.

I’ll try and clear all these things up ,
The strain is diafems critical + 2.0 which as far as I’m aware is a pretty resilient strain ,
And as far as the temp goes I can comfortably keep my hand between my plants and light without any discomfort But my temp is stil reading at 29 all the way at the bottom of my room
I’m thinking about switching to LED but would only want to do so if compleatly necessary, and am unsure what watt led I would have to go for to try ensure same yield results

also as far as I’m aware there are very Few if any signsof stress

also light is about 25 inches from the plant

Thanks for the replies
