Remember to hang those CFL's about 3-5 feet away from the plants cause they are really hot....

100 watt cfl will do you much much good at a decent price around 60-80 dollars.

60- 80 dollars for a 100w CFL?? where ya buying from bra cause thats expensive!

100 WATTS not equivalent wattage. a 23 watt bulb says "equivalent to 100 watts"

you pay any less then 50 or 60 dollars let me know id be more then happy to go right out and get one.

I wasnt tryin ta be rude, but he ya go man. 105 Watt Compact Fluorescent the 200 watt bulbs a like 60 bucks but tha 100 watt bulbs are cheaper

Well, i now have 5 23 watt cfls 1600 lumens, the twisty kind. All together that equals out to over 100 watts. Im buying 2 two-part light fixtures to put on the side of my plants. and one other one to put right over them. But i hear u can keep them an inch away from those lights. But for now i have my 3 that have sprouted and propped them up under a lamp with one of the bulbs in them, and there probably about an inch away from the actual light. The inside of the lampshade is all nice and white and a bit shiny. and i have it all set up in my new grow box i made. out of my dressar. and im gonna make a homemade co2 pump. i think it is co2 pump. so it has the light and the co2 for photosynthesis. should they be fine like that over night

sounds good bra be careful wit tha co2 though, too much isnt good lol

everything is cheaper online.
i purchase from a shop so i prob pay a little extra.

You sure about this? I would bet a decent amount of money that he is going to need to wait longer than that. Figure 2 weeks for vegging, 8 or 9 for flower, and another one or two for drying.

how often should i water them after i get what to totaled out to be 115 watts at 8000 lumens all together. And should i still keep them an inch away then to? atleast the 1 on the top.? or mabye i'll put 2 on top. and one on each side and one on the back. im not sure yet, if someone could answer these 2 that would be great. and also i will be starting a grow log. so in about a week or so look it up.

I have tomato plants under 8 40w tubes 2 42w cfl and 1 85w cfl something like 90k lumas total. the plants seem to love it

using cfl's they need to be about 5-8" off the plant. at least these 42w do the 85w a min of 8" the plants take the heat a little beter when they get older

Yah, but also u gotta keep in mind, there only 23 watt bulbs. but theres 5 of them.

What da you care if i say "bra" or "bro"? Maybe I was raised in a place they called people bra more than "bro"

But, anyways, there gonna go outside for flowering. i dont have the wattage for a good flowering. but the light cycle around here is really good. i should be able to harvest by september because of the weather.
