Grow Lights Question - Free Weed Here!

Ok, all you assholes XD... j/k. keep on telling me i neeeeed lights, so, ima make a grow box out of my dresser. So. i need to know what kind of lights it is that that i will need to get, i need something pretty cheap. And i need one light i can use for the whole Grow. i did do a search, couldnt answer my question. So dont hate on me lol. This is my first time so it doesnt need to be anything fancy. Someone plz help quickly, im goin to the hardware store soon. And BTW there is no free weed here. But it sure brings in the comments!

LoL I'm lost... why not just go the CFL route and check out the CFL forum... their the cheapest lights out there...

cfls, there like $1.50 each max. they screw in regular lamps so the light is all u need. and they r energy savin bulbs, so it wont run up yo bill

ahaha. Yeah this is true. This is what you need to do: Go get 2 60 watt soft white light bulbs, 3 if you think you need more light than this. Hang them about 5 feet from each seedling. For every foot the seedling grows, raise the lights 1 foot more. Continue until you start 12/12 then come back and I'll tell you what to do next.

Alright before you come in and just say same random facts please think about what your saying.....

CFL cost around $6 -$12 per bulb, and you need something in the range of 4 to 6 to veg and then as many as you can get around your plant to flower... 2 per plant is recockulous.....

Ok, so CFL'S then i will go and check them out on Here right now and go and get What i need. Thanx everybody for the help. And, theres really no need to make rude comments is there? Were all fellow stoners. If we cant get along with eachother. And just act like complete idiots weed will never be legalized. We need to unite. Not fight KEEP THE PEACE. and please no more rude comments

Get a 250 watt HPS/MH ballast, really though you should go CFLs just cause your intro was rude, and I didnt get my weed either?

Remember to hang those CFL's about 3-5 feet away from the plants cause they are really hot....

This is ridiculous, Now i dont even know who to Listen 2. >.< yall r gonna make me kill my plants and i didnt even do nothin. My intro comment wasnt rude. I Called u all assholes, but did u possibly miss the part where i said J/K! -.-. As far as im concerned. you guys that are being real assholes now dont even deserve to be here. nor do you deserve to partake in something as special and sacred as Marijuana.

come on man, you can't you tell who is trying to help you and who isnt? honestly this site is awesome for advise but the best experience is first hand experience. What you want to do is take advise and then take it upon yourself to research that advise further. Maybe even buy SMB (SeeMoreBuds) book, its a great CFL resource.

It all comes down to common sense, taking advise from a trusted source, and trying it yourself! you will have some problems with your first grow, i am sure of it, everyone does for the most part. Your not going to be able to go in and know every single thing you need to your first time, you need first hand experience with the issue to know how to properly solve them.

If you take anything from this site, it should be that there are always 100 different ways to do something, and your not gonna know which is best for you till you try it yourself. Grated you want to know the basics of what is required, but first hand experience is key.
