Sorry to hear of the theft. I dont test friendhips by sharing my grow anymore, I made up a story of my Landlord performing regular inspections and that I'm giving up growing. That way the pressure of secret keeping etc is off their shoulders. I also found whenever anyone knew I was growing they would be oddly 'attracted' to dropping by un-announced quite often, maybe just friendly curiousity and a love for ganj, but still it was unwanted foot-traffic.
The problem is then how to explain where you get all your nice weed from, if your friends are on the ball they will be suspicious. Telling lies is an unfortunate part of it.

I've had shit stolen from my backyard when the neighbor's hired some gardeners to prune their trees. The guys were up way high on top of palm trees and of course they look down and see my hidden grow. Ripped out some of my best strains. Now I hang cow bells on the plant and gate and always keep things locked up. Gotta protect your plants like they were firearms. I even try to stagger my harvest so they can't go after all my plants in one go.

Hmmmm your pretty sure it was him but it could be 3 other people possibly...So in your circle of people you allowed to know you grow 4 of them could potentially have ripped you off....I won't say anymore pretty obvious what we all might think lol..You have no camera or ip camera on your home door or the area to look at? I told my cousin I grew. I mean, I introduced him to weed, figured it'd be cool to tell him.
He started texting me about it and shit and I didn't want phone records and shit like that. Especially if family was looking at mg phone.
So I told him I ripped the plant out and I'm done growing til I get my own place. That was about a month ago. Plant is now a week or two from harvest and looking good. And he still feels bad, but he said he learned his lesson

There are old trite sayings for a reason like....silence is golden and trust nobody. Sorry to hear about this. I've know a friend for 27 years and I'm still deciding wheteher to invest in 2 tents, lights, A/C. dehumidifier. and fans...and to trust him.
