ya i think im going to rig some type of ghetto hood up some time soon. a lot of the light is going up when it needs to go down towards the cups.

i started a new plant today. i did not germinate the seed i just put it in some MG organic soil. i have a plant light hanging over it right now but i will be changing it to a 5000K daylight CFL as soon as i pick one up at the store.
I just did the same thing a few hours ago...dropped them in the pot...skipped that germinating step..eh. I use Miracle-Gro Moisture Control. Good stuff...everyone seems to hate on it, but as you can see from my plants, it isn't all that bad...

ya i used MG organic potting soil i love the stuff i dont care what any one else says. i dont think it makes the bud taste funny or anything. by the way if i just want to grow a couple of 2-3 foot plants can the final pot be a plastic foldgers can or is that too small?

I just like MG Moisture Control. Seems to really kick ass depending on what other tidbits you add....in other words, i think many that have tried to use it, have been the ones who wanted to do everything as cheap as possible, lights, less water, etc etc...then they blamed it all on MG. It works very well once you learn how it works. I think any pot you pick will be just fine bro. Don't listen to some of these guys btw...they say how trasnplanting will shock your plant and yada yada....man, seems like the last three I transplanted continued to grow bigger and bigger....and healthier. good luck brotha and check out the pics im posting.

Ya of course they grew bigger after you transplanted them. Thats the idea. The plants roots need more room to grow. If you leave a plant in a little ass cup forever you really think its gonna make it. Man idk some shit ppl say pisses me off. I agree on the moisture control. thats what im rollin with and it fucks shit up! lol I love it. But my compost MG mix is bomb as fuck. Once I got all the ants killed. lol And dude how stupid did you look smoking plants you pissed on. Ya that must've been yummy. Dumbass...Oh and gr8fuldred, don't trip on that can idea, it works great theres like a million people that do the samething. Including me. And the computer fans are great too. There quiet and perfect for stealth grows. Good idea. Oh and I think im gonna be able to save one of the girls, but the other one i dont feel is as lucky. I might have to have a service for it shortly. lol Cannabis is a fairly forgiving plant, but just keep in mind that quality comes with work. If you take care of them...they'll take care of you.

Oh and I just remembered this. If ur on a budget with the whole "pots" thing, you can use bags...like small garbage bags actually work great.

sweet deal man thanks for the input much appreciated..... ya i like my set up right but i will have to do some work on it when it comes to the 12/12 period there are some light leaks that i will need to work on but other than that i think they will turn out good.

My point with saying they grew bigger was just simply noting that I had not had any die from shock or herm after transplanting...yea, maybe I am lucky...but, at least I don't sit on sites and dog people..again, be gone dude...

Idk man, like i've said before, i'm totally for people trying there own thing, thats how new methods happen, but if u look around this site, a lot of people wouldnt recommend planting multiple plants in one container...nor would they suggest pissing on them. lol Man i'm sorry i came off as dogging you...i saw ur plants, they look bomb.

And as far as the transplanting, i recommend it. as long as there is a healthy root system, then the plants should barely even notice the change. I transplant my plants 3 times. !st they start in a cup, then a 3L pot, then whatever i can find. lol (5gal. buckets,whatever.) Hey like I said man, sorry for disrespecting you earlier. You seem like the real deal.

Hey no bro, i was being a fag. U were in the right, i was in the wrong. My plant looks like shit. lol I started them under spot-gros, they grew real stretchy. But I got some different ones now. Plants and lights. Ya man I was actually wondering if i could get some advice...what do you think about the dutch method?

On one of the plants in the pic...the biggest one in the 6 gallon bucket, I got rushed when transplanting because I was late for something, and when I did it, i heard a "rip" and man....i COMPLETELY ripped the hell out of ALL the main roots...like, there was no doubt in my mind that the plant was done for...I transplanted like a few days into flowering..maybe a week. I did this because the pot was just small and it seemed to be the one that would be the best. I was freaking out. man, that thing recovered GREAT. Just will always want to know how much better it could have been though had I not done that. lol...after I heard the roots break, i spazzed out and dropped the plant like two times as I stood there trying to figure out what on earth to do...can't believe it turned out how it has.

All of the plants I posted were started with walmart lights and spot-gros (sylvania i think they are)...all of those plants used incandescents for a large part of their veg.

I really think my secret weapon for these plants has been negative ion generators...everyone focuses so much on lights and forgets about fresh clean air. These plants I posted only use a 150 watt hps and some cfls....people dog the 150 watt hps, but I'm not complaining.

Fuck man...it sounds like you do have a pretty good streak of luck. lol Really?(spot-gro) Idk I guess I just cant grow. lol I like using the cfl's. My plants are coming out way bushier. But man...that 1000w hps is no joke. lol I love it. Oh and so far, outta my 10 babies, 4 boys(which are now just laying around the house for shits and giggles), and 2 for sure ladies. The other 4 its still kinda hard to say. We'll see. Ya man, ur plants look great. I wish mine were healthy like that. My youngens are all suppose to be dutch plants. Thats y i was curious to see what you thought about it. Oh I just got some 32watt 4ft flourescents. I'm gonna run 4 of them + 9 assorted cfl's on 2 plants. Hopefully that'll be enough juice. Im gonna have to say bye to the HPS soon...too much electricity for the pewny ass yeild i'll probably get...

Oh and as far as the light...fuck em! lol Those plants are healthy, ppl just hate cuz there growin wityh big ass MHs and HPS and not even gettin the plant to put a zip out. Keep em comin man.
