Grow journal, First grow ever

Oh and quick update.

After some thinking, maybe i'll top them twice and LST the tops into spirals, like the nazi cross' pattern
Plants are 8" high, growing have been really fast past few days.

How long should i let them recover after the second topping before starting flowering?
Can i lightly LST the 4 tops into spirals while it is flowering or must it be done while still in veg?

question that a really want answered
Do you think that my lighting (5x 23W FLC + 4x 40W 4ft tubes) is going to be enough for 4 flowering plants?

well you have about 275 watts which is not bad but your not going to get big fat buds. my guess is that your plants are going to take about 100 days to flower and you will harvest about 1.5-2 oz or so if you do a good job. quit messing with your ladies. what the heck is a nazi cross pattern? flower those things already.

You know what, they just had another growth spurt. Chopping their head off didn't stun their growth at all. I had to move the lights up. If i wait anymore they're going to get too big for my grow room.

2 CFL on the top, 2 on the sides 1 in the middle, all 2700k, 2 pair of 4ft tubes with 6500k and unknown spectrum, bur red-ish so i figures its good.

Talking to anyone seeing this, or who was subbed.

I'm going to update this in the grow journal section from now on.
