THE CLONE KING, AWESOME! Thanks for showing up, Bro'. That was quick. And, I am deeply humbled but appreciative of your compliments. The fact is YOU are definitely an innovator, and I am attempting to emulate your discovery.

I am sure many people watching this thread have questions for you. In an effort to keep you from reiterating anything, can you post a link to the thread where you address questions about the grow in See More Buds 1, with the Aquamists? This may answer a ton of questions we have for you, the true innovator and pioneer. :peace: and many blessings. :joint:

OK, here are a few shots of the test run I did with 4 plants (2 Grapefruit Haze and 2 Purple Kush). I wasn't intending to complete their life cycle (my girl would die if she found plants growing), just compare a few weeks with Garden Knowm and The Aquamist (it's amazing that he had all those roots 4 days from cutting ). These pics were taken 4 weeks from cutting. The GH roots were app. 2 ft. long. The ever so slow Purple Kush wasn't even close. I cut and trashed everything at 4 1/2 weeks because the roots had invaded the inlet filter on the pump. I'm am currently contemplating a Rubbermaid shoebox with the ends cut out to house the pump. It could double as the tray (which I am still contemplating as well). One thing to mention, it should have a fill hole in addition to the proposed drain port. This will make filling easy. :joint::joint:

no way you getting 2 p's from that thing. no way no how.
I think he's just doing a test run at the moment. As am I (https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/167131-greenx-aero-trials-grow-1-a.html) ... The reason I moved into Aero was because I saw someone get just over 2lb in a similar system, using less, but larger plant.

However I'm still interested to see the final weigh myself :)

But results are always nice ... I mean a trunk like this off a plant that is only 4 Weeks old from a just rooted clone!

...And leaves like this too...

When DrGreenFinger has it all sorted, I'm sure 2 lbs won't be too far out of reach ... Hey, DrGreenFinger was my username on another site once upon a time... And now here I am at RIU - Oh, how life changes :D haha

good stuff grrenphoenix. have you seen the see more buds where he got two p's off of several of these? that's what this is all about, attempting to match what has been done, but with an inexpensive DIY version. see more buds designed the grow.

I haven't seen those DVDs myself, but I believe I've read something about them, in this thread most likely lol ... After this harvest the only things I think I'll really 'update' are a few more mister nozzles and have 20 smaller plants rather than 4 large ones, have 2 tubs, with 20 plants each, that's 40 plants, vegged for say a week and a bit after the clones have rooted, even if I only get 1/4 oz per plant (dry), I'll still have 10 oz or so in about 12 weeks or less, and I don't need anymore than that so should be sweet!

I got my aero idea off of those aero cloner setups, didn't seem like it would be too hard to make an aero cloner into a larger version that could grow plants, especially seen as it's basically a DWC system too (well this version is anyway).

does the spray stay on 24/7 or does it shut off when the lights turn off??
I'll let DrGreenFinger answer what he does ... but seen as no one else has replied yet I'll give you my share of info ... Because of where I am and the fact I can only get 15 minute times over here (as in 15 minute on/off changes) ... I have mine currently as OFF for 15 minutes and ON for 30 minutes, but when I upgrade my setup I will have it as 15 mins OFF / 15 mins ON.

If you have the timers available to you (which I haven't been able to find ANYWHERE), you'd ideally have the timer set to 30 seconds ON and 3 minutes OFF ... This is referred to as the ideal 30/3 (from memory :)) ... Some people put their timers on 1 minute ON / 4 minutes OFF - 1/4 (on/off).

If you want to get into HARD OUT aeroponics ... Do some research into TAG True Aeroponic Growing

- I'd be growing more TAG style but most the required equipment isn't available to me :( ... And I like combining Aero with DWC so that if there's a power failure of a pump breaks the plants aren't going to die (or get very damaged) while the pumps etc are down.

Cheers! ~ GreenX

Did the ez-clone misters screw in with just the 11/64 hole or did you have to do something else? I'm having quite a bit of trouble getting them into my PVC.

those misters can be difficult. i did nothing more than drill the holes and use pliers to hold and force the misters in (gently while turning). :peace:

lets see some updated pics!

i just started building mine today and will be finishing it tomorrow.

one thing about cutting 3" holes in the lids... have a fully charged battery... my battery was so so and i ended up pushing too hard and cracked from one hole to the next... i was doing the reverse drill way to minimize the mess and "stringy" edges left by the drill.

Hey DrGreen...

I've just been testing my new aero tub and it had the drip you were asking about in my aero thread! lol ... I don't need to use this new tub for another couple months but just wanted to know if you have any pics of what you did to fix it!

Cheers!
