Setup:
Veg Tent:
Size:4'x4'x6.5'
Ballast/hood/light: Hydrofarm 4' x 4 bulb T5
Flower Tent:
Size:4'x4'x6.5'
Ballast: Nanolux 600w dimmable/digital
Hood: Hydrofarm 6" air cooled
Light: Xtrasun 600hps
Ventilation/odor control: 6" inline fan pulling through a 20" carbon filter and exhausting out through the air cooled hood. I also have a 4" inline fan pulling freshair into the tent through a hepa filter.
Growing Medium:
100% Perlite in 16oz mini hempy cups as of now, but still debating on wether or not to do hempy buckets or DTW coco/perlite.
Nutrients:
B'cuzz Roots
Great White
GH FloraNova Grow
GH FloraNova Bloom
*Keeping it simple for this first run but most likely will end up using other additives
Genetics:
OG Kush and Headband, both from Dr. Greenthumb Seeds
Now, down to business...
I'm still waiting on my seeds to come, but I have been growing out some bag seed in the meantime. I experimented with rockwool cubes and root riot plugs. As soon as they sprouted and I could see at least one tap root growing through the medium, I transplanted them into 16oz hempy cups. The seedlings in the root riot cubes seam to be thriving and ahead of the seeds in rockwool. I will be sticking to them for seeds and clones from now on. Here are the stats of my veg tent:
Light cycle: 20/4
Temp: 70-75degrees
RH: 70-90%
Nurients: B'cuzz roots every time I water and Greatwhite once a week. Ph around 5.8-6.0
That's about all for now : ) Everything looks good and healthy but I'm really waiting on the OG and Headband to get here! Keep on growin'
