Snapped picture of 3/4 of the grapes 13.

Here is the the taller plant #3 that was hit hardest by the bad tupur soil mix and other calamities, no smells yet and too early for resin, she is g13 looking indica style growth
20180123_163445.jpg

#2, smaller of the 2 healthier grp13, short squat, bushy and very indica looking, another g13 leaner I assume
back neck.jpg
#4, tallest healthy one, only stretcher so I assume grapestomper leaner, more sativa looking growth even in veg, no smell yet but she is best out of the group so far.

The girls in the flower tent are starting to frost up and should be very frosty from the looks of early production. I sort of got a grape smell off #4 and #3 but it is still to early to really tell.

But I will be glad to be done with the girls in the tent, the 6 in the flower tent are in the shitty tupur and are still suffering along.

I might just rerun all 4 of the grapes because it just isn't fair judging on a fucked up batch. I mean the clones in the new tupur are looking great so I might put the best cut of grapes in a larger container but run the other 3 in small 1 gallon containers so I can flower them but not take up too much space.

Once girls flower out a bit more I'll post pics.

I'm thinking I'll run all four grapes 13 clones one time before picking the keeper because this run I put in journal here was in tainted tupur soil and the girls flowering look sad as fuck compared to my normal runs. I'm not happy but fuck what can I do?

Meanwhile the clones in fresh non tainted are looking great and it's hard to tell which is best. The two more fucked up gp13s in flower are looking the more vigorous in clone form than the two healthier ones in flower. Anyway I think they deserve a better run.

I'm going to throw all 4 grapes 13 in flower again in about a week, just long enough to get a clone off of the one or two I chose to rerun again. I just don't like the look of the ones in flower and it is not fair to judge them by the fucked up seed run. I might see about deleting the first part of this journal or editing the first page to warn first time lookers to skip to these last few post of the healthy clones.

You cant judge them by the seed run because they were never healthy or happy.

I just transplanted them into 1 gallon pots and will flower them out in same pots. I'll be flowering the 2 tangerine dreams and goji plants with the 4 gp13 also I'll flower out the tangerine power male too. The biggest tangerine power will hit flower tent 3/1 and the others will follow a couple days later.

The grapes do have faint good smells but it's so early I can't tell to well.

I am going to throw grp13 #1, 2, 3 into flower after I cut a clone off each and then in with the tangerine powers and goji Mar 01 and I'm going to veg out #4 for the next run.

#4 has a lemon fruity pebbles smell going on and seems to be frosting up nicely. Sadly she won't look as good as she will next round.

Shame that people flipping through are going to see the fucked up run first but hopefully they scroll through this last page first because these girls didn't look this good the first time around.

I used the male pollen friday night and it was a successful pollination. I hit my berry wine and orange cuts of miyagi and all 4 grapes 13 females.

I have to say that 3 out of four grapes do in fact have a grape smell to them and a damn good grape smell. My two keepers are hash plant style flowerers with awesome smells and great resin. 1 smells like raspberry sucker and 1 smells like sour grape soda.

#1, seems to be a little more vigorous w/bigger top cola and bigger of two clones, smells like sour grape soda
20180123_163445.jpg

Fore ground is #1 background is #2 the more sativa leaning of the 4, she has a grape smell too but too tall and fluffy of buds for me but I'm sure it'll be good smoke but will probably go 10 weeks plus
back.jpg

#4, a little slower in veg, good node spacing but doesn't like being topped to much, best smelling plant I've had in a while I mean the grape soda is great but this one is nostalgic for me, that raspberry dumdum smell, hopefully the smell carries over into the taste with both these girls. She looks like she'll yield a little less hardy than grape soda but not by too much

Here are both the girls, #1 on the left and you can see she's a little taller. I plan on vegging these girls so we can see what they can really do when healthy.back neck.jpg

Keeper #4 (left) and #1(right)
back neck.jpg

The girls started getting spots before I transplanted them out of their 1 gallon pots, I raised the calmag up a little and put them in bigger pots. I think these girls may want more than just 5ml of calmag.

So far with Grapes 13, I've popped 5 beans I've had for at least 3yrs, all germed, 4 females and 1 male.

My keepers #1 & #4 are 2 phenos that are more hashplant style growers with grape smells (pictured above)

I decided to get rid of clones from #2 and #3.

#2 is a tall stretchy sativa leaner, grapey smell, weak air fluffy bud. This plant looks like it will be the tallest biggest plant with the smallest yield out of the group lol. It would be a good option for someone with high humidity but I don't like it. I did pollinate so flowers won't develop quite like sensi and I'm pretty sure it will take a while for it to flower, over 10 wks.

#3 was the runt mainly because it was most effected by the bad batch of tupur, she has nice flowers and 2nd nicest resin glands next to #4 but she lacks any grape smell and is just hash plant. I'm only interested in grapestomper flavor from this strain and so only keeping the best 2 for the next round. Although I am currently flower a small clone of both 2 and 3 in small pots just to see what they look like in good health the whole grow and for the smoke, lol :bigjoint:.

So far the grapes is about right, 75% have nice grape smell, 50% are combo of parents genetic, a perfect combo imo. So far I'm digging her but I'll have to see what these to vegged out clones will do before we'll see what she'll really do. The smoking may raise or drop that that opinion but so far I like even though the seed run was tainted.

The girls are coming along and will get chopped 3/31 regardless of them being fully ripe or not just because I gotta get these lagging ass plants in sour oil the fuck out of my life so I can forget they ever were! lol

If these plants would have been in healthy tupur mix from the get go I'd already be smoking them and the harvest would have been 3x or 4x as much. Plus I'm guessing the smell and resin production will also improve with the healthy clones.

Even with the shitty soil the breeders description was dead on. It is definitely hash plant meets grape soda.

Here are the 2 keeper phenos I decided on.

Here's #4, sweet grape candy bordering on wildberry smell, nice thick tall resin glands and denser buds than #1 but she is slower and more indica leaning
bridge.jpg bvc.jpg back neck.jpg back top.jpg
Here is #1, sour grape soda, bigger plant bigger buds but a little looser, fast vigorous growth

I'll get picks of all four this weekend because I plan to chop them this weekend even though they need another weeks or so but I got to get things moving along.

All four do have grape smells, the 2 non keepers are nice but 1 is tall fluffy sativa style plant I don't care for and the other was the runt which has great resin and chunky buds, she could have been a contender but she didn't keep up.

Here are the two keepers,
#4, nice indica buds with a smell that shifts from raspberry, grape and sweet berryish but it's not as strong as #1, doesn't like being topped as much as #1
20180123_163445.jpg
Here is a seeds growing without a calyx on #1
20180115_203506.jpg

Here is who I think will be the keeper and ironically was labels as such, #1
Straight sour sweet grape funk, grape soda, vigorous growth and great branching and responds to topping well

I through the 2 clones #1 and #4 into flower on the 1 of april. So its been a week and they're doing well. Can't wait to see what the healthy go of grapes will be like, plus I successfully harvested f2 beans from all 4 grapes 13 and the 2 miyagi crosses.
#1, grape soda, the grape-est smelling of the three, and the more vigorous of the 2 keepers
back top.jpg
#4, had raspberry smell in early flower but lost it to a slightly grape berry smell but no where near as pungent as grape soda, smaller buds but more indica looking denser and frostier buds, she is less vigorous but has the potential to be better smoke or better high

Well I've toked a little off each of the 4 grapes but sadly the poor tupur and growing conditions killed the flavor, I can get hint of nice flavors but I can tell they didn't do what they could have. The grape soda pheno is the only one whose jars smells like grapes when you open it and it has a slight hint of it in the taste but not like it should. I think the clone run with the two pictured above will be stellar.

Still its a good cross and I'll get to the rest of the pack soon. I'll post up follow ups with the clone in flower. Should be some big buds this round so get to smell what they got.

I thought I had taken pics of both of my 2 grapes 13 keepers that I vegged out and am flowering now but they both look like this but the grape soda cut is a little stretchier.

This is my indica dom cut and like the seed run it has a nice raspberry candy type smell but it lost it in late flower hopefully this one doesn't.

I'm excited to see how these girls will do in good health so far they're blowing away the sad seed run in aroma and resin production in early flower.

Hazeman did well. I can't really comment on the flavor because the first run was fucked off and the smoke from that run is not flavorful but I think it was because the shitty run. Right now the grape soda cut is still grape soda smelling and the smaller pheno is back to smelling like raspberry/grape candy so hopefully it stays like that this time..

Smaller pheno, more indica style plant and high, very potent and body buzz, slower growth and shorter plant than grape soda, right now smells like r.berry/grape candy
back.jpg

grape soda pheno, great plant, quick growth, minimal to moderate stretch, stronger smell which is always grape skunkness, both girls like more cal/mag in veg with minimal nutes.
