I do garden corrected....yeah 6 to 12 i was a lil overzealous...tho i had 2 diff packets that had 2 diff heights one 8 to 12 one 10 to 15....they are almost 6 ft now....i will get sunzilla for the summer time....r u going to grow some.? thanks for exposing my foolhardiness...lol jk peace out bro

I have four just popping up 3 in the ground and 1 in a pot, but i want to make a wall of these it would look awsome. Gonna throw some autumn beauty in there as well.

You should def check out my journal. I got one wall of sunflowers. advice i can give is spacing spacing spacing. I coulda done a better job. def make sur u dig the initial hole 2 ft deep for best results. I fed a lil here and there. now im doing some flowering feedings for em. Their all about the sun...I got some auttum mix in a clump of 8. all those are only a foot or so. r u gonnna have a journal or nething? peace out

man, I came home to find that my dog has dug a huge pit in the middle of one of my flower beds.... so i lost a few banana and jalepeno peppers that i had just put in, and a bunch of petunias..... she does this every chance she can get, wont dig anywhere else. so this is the last straw, that bitch goes to the animal shelter monday.

wow gogrow. what kind of dog? that sucks. i dont necessarly like domesticated animals in the home......I have yet to have a animal problem gardening...lil bit i guess but not really....mother natures fury has always done me in.....wind in particular

she's a mutt that wandered up last year.... and i dont like the idea of "pets" either, animals should be tools or food... but my wife/son disagree....

A fence could be a good compramise. A journal would be a good idea. The Flowers are a side project I'm all about the veggies and fruits for the time being. You familiar with Colius?

is Colius the seeds from a head shop? I am not familar with it...alas as summer grows near the fam and i are making lil plans for some mid summer veggie gardening.....
Gogrow u got that shit right with tools or food for domesticated animals....i worked on a farm for several years and we had feral cats which were great for keeping the rodent population down even scarin off coons from the feed room sometimes..alas they had a real purpose. come spring time tho (quit reading now if u are the sensitive type) we would have to "thin the herd" as alot of mating took place. we kept the numbers below 20. so if 3 stupid kittens got stepped on by hefers good. if the ol hag of the farm drove one over with her golf cart good. wed only use like 5 bullets for the rest....im not the cat killer i was there and just know......i dunno jus rambling

My cat was a farm kitten and he was vicious from a young age but chilled out. So the winds here in the 30s with gusts of 60...bring it.

ha ha yeah i grabbed a kitty in the spring once that was the worst idea ever. that one didnt change from feral. well a few of the sunflowers are over 6 ft tall now. I got 3 heads diff varietiies. I need to get to a compute for pic update

That would be cool to see what my stuff will be like, the cat was chill but he liked to ruff house so i was always scratched up a teacher at school thought i was cutting myself.

first mamouth sunflower unfurled in about 24 hours. is a very radiant yellow...just awesomely bright. too many different morning glorys to count. and my neighbors confederate jasmine is just kickin today. big ol hedge of that they got.....hmmmmm cant smell weed flowering 5 ft away with that thing bloooming...

grass doesnt grow here. unless you got thousands of dollars. I hate it too so i grow other stuff to keep ur eyes off the dirt
